Aurora stood next to the waterfall in her teal bathing suit, her hands in front of her catching the water as it tumble down the rocks.

Aurora turns and looks around her, "Yes?"

"playing with the water" she says timidly.

"Yeah" she turns back to the water and cup her hands to catch the water.

"Im Aurora" she says.

She turns and smiles, "Nice to meet you too" she says bowing her head slightly.

She lifts her head, grinning.

Matthew walked closer to the water fall.He bent down and examined some deer tracks."Where did that stupid deer go?"He said asking himself.

Hearing someone else, Aurora looks past Bryce to see Matthew examining some deer tracks.

He walked over to the water to fill his canteen.

She waves, "Hello" she called out.

He sees her and jumps back letting his canteen.He grabbed what looked like a staff off his back."What are you."

"Sorry if i scared u" Aurora smiles, "Im a vampire, what else?"

"Sorry but your kind hate my kind."

Her eyes narrowed a bit, "What are you?'

"I'm a half breed."

"Figures" she mumbles turning her back on him.

He sighed."Wow all high and mighty aren't you b****."

She turns sharply, "What.did.u.call.me?" she asks slowly.

"Well your race has been hunting me so thats why i called you it."

"Well, one of your kind exposed our hideout in the outer world, thats why we have to live in this freaking island" She snapped.

"Its not so bad."He said trying to reach his canteen in the water.

"How is it not bad" she asks grabbing his canteen before he can.

"At least you guys have humans you can get blood from i have to get it from angry people and some animals."

"Thats because your unwanted" she mumbles.

He bonked her on the head with his staff.

"ouch!" she screeched rubbing her head, "What the heck was that for?" she demanded.

"I was wanted by my parents before you guys slaughtered them."He said harshness to his voice.

She smirked, "Your mom was never suppose to have a relationship with a human"

"Well it happened because she fell in "love" with him.Do you know what love is."

"Love is action. Love is tolerance. Love is learning your partner's love language and then expressing love in a way that he can receive. Love is giving. Love is receiving. Love is plodding through the slow eddies of a relationship without jumping ship into another's churning rapids. When she finished she opened her eyes, "But a human and a vampire falling in love with each other is wrong..they waste their time in creating another breed that cant even have children"

He was angry no but then figured what she was doing."Your trying to get me angry aren't you so I'd attack blind with rage."

She smirks, "and why would i do that?" she asks with fake sweetness.

"Because it will lead to me being sad in the end and I'm guessing your blood type it sadness."

She nods, "So what?"

"Its the same as my daughter."He said starting to walk away.

"What?" she walks in front of him, "You cant have a daughter"

"But i do."He said walking past her teasing her by not spilling info.

"You cant!" she says walking alongside him, "Half-breeds are sterile!"

"Thats what you think."He said disappearing into the darkness.

She growled and walked off.

Jace walked by the waterfall, watching the water with a peaceful look.

Annabelle stopped and sat on a rock by the waterfall, her nose in a book

Jace sighed silently and dove into the water.

she looked up at the sound of the splash

He surfaced and shook out his wet hair from his eyes.
