I thought i would start a thread on books that you've read that have stayed with you - i suppose i mean favourite books but sometimes i read a book and for a while it's my 'favourite' but then in time i find i've forgotten it!
I have 3 books that i can;t forget though:
The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold - i read bits from this book all the time!
Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro - Kathy, Tommy and Ruth live with me every day!
Ferney by James Long - i havn't met anyone else who has read this book so hoping to on here - i will sing it's praises to everyone :)

I would love to hear other peoples choices and the reasons whay they love a book so much....

Reaghan | 3 comments I am in the middle of Life of Pi and it has gotten much better. I found the beginning confusing, just me? Loving it now though!

Reaghan | 3 comments Oh, books I cannot forget...Good in Bed, Jennifer Weiner, Murphy Lives Here, Merryl Polak, and the Help, Kathryn Stockett. All have stories and characters that I would literally dream about at night. It always impresses me when that happens.

Hi Reaghan - nice to meet you and thanks for joining - not many of us yet but i'm hoping we will grow in numbers soon :) I havn't read any of your favourites although i have seen The Help film and fancy reading the book when i get a chance.
As for Life of Pi - i found the first part really long and hard to read but once it got into part 2 i was hooked :)

Reaghan | 3 comments Glad to know I was not alone in the first part Kate! Loved it, found so much of it surprising. Made me grateful for the little creature comforts in my life. :-)
