We all love the show. Has anyone read the comic books?

No I haven't. I have books 1-8 but haven't read them yet.

Well I've read the first book and it's awesome. Very close to the show.

I've read up to volume 17 and it's very... different from the show... (view spoiler)[like carol dies, Lori died from getting shot, The Governor was killed, Daryl and Merle weren't in the comics, Carl got shot in the eye, Andrea and Rick become a couple, Glenn dies, They go to Washington, T-Dog wasn't in the comics, Rick doesn't go a bit crazy and see Lori, Rick's hand got cut off...and there's still more. (hide spoiler)] the spoilers are VERY spoilery.

I've read the first two compendiums. I loved them. The first one I managed to stretch out to last me about a week, the second one I was half-way through within two hours.

I have read the first and it's very very amazing!!!
