3. What was the most surprising thing you read in Colored Waters?

4. Do the characters seem real and believable? Can you relate to their predicaments? To what extent do they remind you of yourself or someone you know?

5. What was unique about the setting of the book and how did it enhance or take away from the story?

6. Is this a plot-driven book: a fast-paced page-turner? Or does the story unfold slowly with a focus on character development?

The book is at times fast paced, but also at times rather slow, even boring. However it is certainly well worth reading.
