I have been reading that there can be a correlation between depression and thyroid disease. Is this something you address in your book or something most endocrinologists will explore even if levels seem to be normal on medication?

Untreated thyroid disease has a strong association with depression. However, if the thyroid is treated properly it is not usually a contributing factor. I discuss the details of this in my book Hormonal Balance.
