The BURIED Book Club discussion

Sun & Moon Press published Steve Katz's Swanny's Ways, for which I thank them. As of 1995, their catalog included the LIKES of: Djuna Barnes, André du Bouchet, André Breton, Heimito von Doderer, Arkadii Dragomoschenko, Federman, Knut Hamsun, John Hawkes, Anthony Powell, Raymond Queneau, Arthur Schnitzler, Gertrude Stein, Italo Svevo, Emile Zola, and others you've never heard of. It would suggest that the Sun & Moon Press logo would indicate a book of a certain nature which would cause you to bring it home sight-unSCENE.

Sun & Moon Press operated from 1976-2002. Douglas Messerli is the party responsible for this experimental press. Here is a page of data from their archive @ UofC, San Diego:

FYI, Green Integer/Sun & Moon is currently selling off some old stock at sale prices. It's a good time to stock up while also supporting one of the best small presses specializing in 'experimental' literature that is still remarkably in operation, despite the seemingly narrow readership for much of their list.
