Is it modest?

If i wore a denim skirt about and inch above my knees with black leggings would it be immodest?

No way!!!! I wear skirts/dress with leggings sometimes and usually they are that short.
how do you get the maker of this group on?
Okay, this one's kind of embarrassing. Would you say it's okay to show your sports bra as if it's another layer?
like if you use it as sort of an under shirt? i'm confused. i've never heard of that either.
*shrugs* i wouldn't even really worry about the leggings but I have track+ PE so I'm used to stuff above my knee
ok how about about a swimming suit that shows a little stomach. i think its ok but some ppl dont....
I think that it is more modest not to show your stomach. especially with swimming suits, when you jump into the water, the top goes way up.

its ok in my oppinion i like one pieces better cuz you dont have to worry about anything when you jump off the diving board!
yeah. my friends have a pool, and were swimming when i was there, so i borrowed one of their swimming suits, and when i jumped, the top went WAY up. i was really glad that they don't have any bothers. i prefer one pieces, even though they r uncomfortable.
ya i like wearing one pieces with like the swimming shorts.
Hilo I'm natalie davies and I'm gonna ask you a question......If you were going to prom and you got a dress that exposed your back alot would you wear it to church....Just so you know I'm not asking advice It's just a trivia kind of thing any way I'm too young to go to prom.
i dont think i'd even wear it to prom or maybe i'd just fix the back

My sister got a dress that wasn't modest and she just made a really cute little jacket to go with it and it was modest. So I guess I would have my sister make a little jacket like hers for me to wear to cover the back.
Hey Guys! You should check out LimeRicki.com they are really cute modest swimsuits!! They are on tv a lot and are very cute and modest! But not the weird pologamous ones with sleeves!
I usually just stick with the speedo swimsuits

nope not at ALL! i wear dresses way above my knees without leggings and its ok.
No way! I wear skirts above my knees all the time. (Just like Emmy) Also, I don't think wearing a swimsuit that shows your stomach is unmodest. Just make sure the top doesn't show too much of your upper body and your good. Same thing for the bottom part of you swimsuit.
yeah i totally agree with Connie! The swinsiut thing i have the same advice! Its is ok that your stomach is showing, but as long as u make sure it doesnt show anything that it shouldnt. i had to return a swim suit just becasue it was showing a litte too much somewhere...
Please, I really don't want to offend anyone, but personally, I think a swimsuit should not go above your belly button. I mean, we don't wear belly shirts, so you really should wear only long tankinis. But I think the leggings are fine, as long as the leggings go past your knees. I personally never wear a dress above my knees without anything under it, because that is just too close to a miniskirt. My advice is: if it's borderline and you're not quite sure if it's modest, don't wear it.
I wear full piece swim suits. i feel really awkward when my tummy shows!!:D
Me too! Although I am considering a tankini that goes below my waist, so it covers my whole stomach. Would that be ok?
i think so. i once heard that if you're debating whether something is wrong or right, then it's probably wrong because you keep debating it. Most of the time, for me at least, that's true.
That does seem like a good rule. I kind of do that too.
