Ed Wagemann (edwagemann) | 1013 comments T.C Boyle is the red-headed, award-winning Baby boomer novelist-extrodinaire whose works often and conveniently dip a toe into the popular literary vehicle of magical realism and whose life has been deeply steeped in the wankery world of intelligencia (he earned an M.F.A. from the University of Iowa Writers' Workshop, a Ph.D. from the University of Iowa and has been a professor of English at the University of Southern California for many moons). His novels include World's End, Drop City, The Road to Wellville , The Tortilla Curtain and Budding Prospects.

His short stories regularly appear in all the exceptable American magazines for literary figures; The New Yorker, Harper's, Esquire, The Atlantic Monthly and Playboy.
