Was anyone else disappointed by the book? I found it technically well written, it didn't fall into traps like The Forever Machine, but...well, there wasn't any real drama. The big potential dilemma is someone figuring out the rouse, which happens twice. Both times the threat is neutered almost immediately.
I liked the concept, but it just felt like the story was missing something.
Yeah, I expected more from a book by Heinlein based off of the few books I've read previous to 'Double Star.' Definitely a cool idea for a story but perhaps not executed to its fullest potential.
Yet, I would at least say it was worth the time to read.
