wow, it's pretty spooky. I'm just starting chapter 4

for the record, however, (since I live in Oregon), to the best of my undestanding - all lighthouses in Oregon are National or State property except 2 privately owned, and they are on the California end of Oregon....not near Cannon Beach..

BUT, Cannon Beach is where they filmed Goonies - if that gives you a reference of our Beach weather and fog

I LOVED the description of the old lady in the lobby. I think she might be a Red Hatter! Lol

I'm in chapter 5. I might stop there. This book is really scary. And I love the humor also :)

Wow. Chapter 4 was intense lol

right? The part that she got stuck there alone was so creepy. I would never walk in there alone even during daytime. I'm curious who that guy really was and where he went. He couldn't just disappear like that.

I just finished chapter 7.

and this girl's dreams?!!!! holy crap! They would scare me!

and the elevator ~ she's had some freaky encounters at her work!!!!

her mom kind of sucks tho.....

and the gas station scene!!!! ACK! Was I the only one cringing?!! that was just awful!

One thing that cracked me up is **SPOILER** when she was leaving her workplace and the elevator scene. She was so freaked that she "almost (almost) wished that the Creepy Clown Lady" was there. Lol I'm not sure why but that struck me as so funny!!!

And what about The Whiz? Who'd go by that name!! Lol

Dex is still a mystery to me. **SPOILER**When Perry checks out his FB photos she that in his pics she likes his smile except it's unnatural. Ada asks if it's Satan'a FB account. He wouldn't have been in the lighthouse filming or checking it out if her were legit, or at least professional!

EIGHT? Oh my goodness! LOL Are they possibly like some books that aren't connected (can be read as stand alone's), or does one link to another? Do you know?

lol right! 9!! AND there are even .5 novellas almost every other book! there are a HUGE amount of books in this series!

If they are as good as this one I will probably read all of them...eventually! Lol

me too! I think I'll probably go looking for a scary book about 1 per month.that means I'll finish it in almost a year - as long as the author doesn't write anymore! LOL

OMG just finished chapter 9

and I have no idea....what that was.
that was craziness and I don't know who is the crazy one anymore!?!?!

I'm only in ch 7 so I'll get back on that, but I have to finish Onyx. I keep switching books! This is too fun!!

I finished chapter 8. I need to get something done first before I can continue.

The gas station scene was a bit awkward, especially when that guy talked about her being chubby before.

right! Good thing Dex was at least nice :D I liked how he didn't make her feel worse.

Yeah, and I also liked how he didn't lie but led them to believe they were on the same type of trip.

These sentences gave me a creep (view spoiler)[ Slowly, he opened his mouth and stuck out his tongue. It was about as large as his mouth and lay flat against his chin. His eyes never changed. (hide spoiler)]

I'm only in ch 8. I am so into this book that I don't want to put it down, but I HAD to cuz of time constraints on 2 other books. I have about 40 PG left in one book then I'll get back to this one. I'm definitely reading her other books in this series. :)
