Lidia pushed her glasses up the bridge of her nose with her middle finger. "Damn idiots! Wouldn't know the difference between sulfur and sugar!" She grumbled as she hurried to the pharmacy, hoping to get there before they closed for the day. She had to restock her supplies, the Military had sent her more 'research assistants' and they had decimated her stocks.
Mr. Teach would be walking out of an alleyway. He thought to himself about what he saw today. 'Woman with bags of groceries, cops, 2 arrests. Hmm, this might be too easy. Might as well see what the Civil Servant look like up close.' He thought in his head, picking up a good sized rock.He threw it at a window, and ducked in the alley. "Start time." He said checking his watch.
Lidia jumped when she heard shattering glass behind her and turned around. "I don't have time for this." She muttered and went to investigate.
Rose walked down the street. She was walking her dog and saw her old friend Lidia and said, "Lidia!" She then followed her smiling.
"Hey Rose, you didn't happen to see what happened here did you?" Lidia asked and gestured to the broken glass. "I was walking by when I heard it."
(lol no problem, I get it now)Lidia tutted and hefted her bag of chemicals. "Yeah okay, but if something attacks us and I have to save your ass it's on you to get me more supplies."
Rose then noticed that the glass came from the window and peeked into the window noticing that nothing was stolen or touched since of a layer of dust covering everything.
"No clue." Lidia said, surveying the walls and leftover furniture. "This looks like a transmutation circle." She muttered to herself.
"You were the one who wanted to investigate." Lidia said absently, tracing the circle with her eyes, wondering what it was for. She had never seen anything like it.
"Doesn't the military usually walk towards whatever is bleeding. Not away from it?" Lidia said as she stooped to pick up her bag.
"My job says I do, as does the research money I get from the military; the rest of me is still undecided." Lidia said with a sarcastic smile.
"It's not like we were discreet about coming in and they'll see our tracks in the dust but whatever it's not like I really care." Lidia said, shrugging.
Rose then took some of the items out od Lidis's hand and said, "So where are we going?" She grabbed the leash to her dog.
Lidia looked sidelong at Rose, "don't know where you're going but I need to get this stuff back to my lab. If you want to come with you're welcome to."
"wow either the Military dogs suck at there jobs this much, & this'll be the easiest job ever. Or these people really don't care that much about his old place."He casually walked out of he alley and jumped into the window he busted out earlier. Upon entering he saw what he wasn't expecting. "Transmutaion? But that's a complex circle. Only three people I've seen would dare attempt that." He studied it carefully for any flaws. But lost track of time.
Rose walked by the window again and noticed somebody was in there. She then tired her dog to a light post and pulled out her hand gun and jumped through the window. She pointed her gun and said, "Who are you?"
He fumbled getting to his feet."Don't shoot!" he threw his hands up. "M-m-my name is Edward Teach. I I am an Archeologist. I just passing through, and saw this thing." he fumbled to pick up an old vase. "It appears to be a few centuries old."
Norman wrote: "He fumbled getting to his feet."Don't shoot!" he threw his hands up. "M-m-my name is Edward Teach. I I am an Archeologist. I just passing through, and saw this thing." he fumbled to pick up an old..."
Rose rolled her eyes, "I doubt that that's why your here." He gun was still pointed at him.
Lidia entered the room and took in the scene before her with raised brows. "Looks like I got here just in time." She said.
Edward noticed the second woman. 'Lovely Teach, Now you're stuck.' he said in his head. "I'm serious, I'm just an explorer, & archeologist. Though you have one thing right." He set the case done. "It was made 150 years ago, not 200. Like I originally stated."
"Ok if we're going to twist arms here... My name is Edward Teach, and I am tracking a man. My last tip said he was heading in this direction. He goes by the name Silver Max. And I I find heim I can pay off the debt I owe. If he slips through my fingers again.." He stop the look on his face was concern. "Miria." he whispered unde his breath as he sat down, forearms on his knees.
"Okay so you're looking for someone, but there is obviously no one here excluding the three of us so why bother coming in?" Lidia asked suspiciously and crossed her arms over her chest.
"I noticed the circle. Two others I've seen in my travels. Except they each had a defining mark: a Dragon (Ouroboros), a cross (The Cross Circle), something specific, but this one has none. I was trying to figure out the flaw but the only thing different from the others is this ones a pentagon and the others were octagons." He stood up. "It doesn't matter. You going to arrest me for "Entering an abandoned property". And tell me tomorrow to leave, anyway. That's way I don't even know if Max is here or not."
