It's not out yet but I think it would take place after the original series! But I've only read up to Rising Storm, although I know some stuff that happens because I kinda spoiled the series a little for myself!

trust me the series gets sooooooo much better. all the characters mature and the themes get darker and more twisted as they get older and when you finally finish the Last Hope, you realize how the entire series worked together so well.

Great! I actually just finished Rising Storm pretty fast! I'm on A Dangerous Path right now! I can't believe Tigerclaw is leader of ShadowClan! Just kidding! I already knew that.

I just put a hold on this book at our library. It's On ORDER as it hasn't been released yet but I am really excited for it. I am currently rereading the entire series and am now on Starlight. I am going to be curious to see how both Dustpelt and Sandstorm handle the death of Ferncloud and Firestar at the end of The Last Hope. I really hope that Bramblestar draws on their wisdom and experience while giving them lots of time to grieve their lost mates. Perhaps they will both join the elders as I do remember in one book that Firestar noticed that Dustpelt was moving with a lot of stiffness ( not that he was complaining about it)
