LaVerne Thompson and Zenobia Renquist have several great multicultural romances, and that's always a theme in my paranormals. I'm fascinated by African (continental), Indian (Middle Eastern), Balkan, and Japanese cultures. I enjoy writing about Native American cultures, also great story builders.
Love Comes Later by Mohan Ranjakur is one of the last M/C romances that I read and really enjoyed it. It explores the relationship between a Qatari man from a devout Muslim family and Asian-American woman. Loved the juxtaposition of cultures.

I'm from Miami, grew up in a diverse culture, married a Basque man, taught English as second language, and have a daugther who is comfortable in either cultural (Spanish and US). Being a witness to diversity, the trials/challenges I can't help but feed a yearning to read about M/C or other cultures. I write about M/C because of this sensitivity.I was fortunate to hear Junot Diaz when he came to Nashville last year and read parts of his novel. Dr. Diaz is a college professor wearing converse sneakers. An amazing author, teacher, and human being. His writing style is literary; however, he creates on several levels. "How to Lose Her" is a work you won't want to miss. Junot Díaz
