I read just finished Just Good Friends: Escape to New Zealand Book Two and really liked it. One of the things I liked about it is the hero had to grown. He is very good looking and because of that he gets things easier than he should or gets prejudged because of his looks.

I love this kind of character development.

Can you suggest more romance books that feature a hero whose very good looks are part of the story and have caused people not to really see the hero or perhaps for things to come to easy for him so he has to grow. Or cause women to be obsessed with him?

I like this issue with heroines as well.

And of course, I have lists going.

Jill Hughey | 59 comments I read "Just This Once" and liked it even better than "Just Good Friends". Really nice series.

Lisa - (Aussie Girl) | 13013 comments Nice, AWC.

Does Pride and Prejudice fit? I mean Mr Darcy was certainly easy on the eye and had women falling over him but it wasn't till he wanted Elizabeth that he had to get over his prejudices and grow as a person.

June (ladyjune) | 630 comments Nice list, I think I know a few that may fit for the list as well
For heroine :
Venetia from Beguiling the Beauty (Fitzhugh Trilogy, #1) by Sherry Thomas , she's breathtakingly beautiful, but people think she's just that, and the hero think she's a greedy b****, she actually very sweet, its great read.

Juliana from Eleven Scandals to Start to Win a Duke's Heart (Love By Numbers, #3) by Sarah MacLean , people see her as scandal although it mostly due her to her mother.

For hero
All Summer Long (Fool's Gold, #9) by Susan Mallery I think the hero here was an underwear model, its hard to be taken seriously with that kind of job, I think

Tempting the Bride (Fitzhugh Trilogy, #3) by Sherry Thomas another favorite of mine, he's sweatheart but the heroine only see his flaw :(

How about Colin Bridgerton from Romancing Mister Bridgerton (Bridgertons, #4) by Julia Quinn ? He thought that people only see him as charming. That may fit

June (ladyjune) | 630 comments Abigail wrote: "Underwear model? I love it!!!" LoL, yeah I like him, too, unfortunately the heroine wasn't, she think she's just a pretty face without much in the brain. Its fun read, although I like previous one better :)
