Hi Jack, Sam and I decided to read The Night Circus.
Where should I set up a separate thread to discuss the book as we go along?
Jon wrote: "Hi Zara,Jack sent us a message with the pairs. You're paired with Lindy."
Yes I got that one. Sorry. I was a bit confused.
Here are the pairings for this month:

awww I want to do this but I don't have a partner and plus I won't have an access to the internet to be able to get on goodreads for the first half of April (unless I can find a free wifi spot) bc I'm going on a trip with my school. so would it b okay if I do it with someone who is going on the trip with me and then I can tell you about the book in one comment by me and then she / he can tell you what they thought about the book in another comment by me. PLZ Jack that would just make my day bc I am sick and all alone laying around the house today.
Ok Libby, but just because you have a friend there. There were others who missed the deadline who wanted to take part too, so make sure you sign up next time.

Hi Jon, you discuss you're book with your pair through goodreads messaging, and then you update us here in is thread.

Hi Jon, you discuss you're book with your pair through goodreads messaging, and then you update us here in is thread.
But having it in a thread has several advantages:More people can join the discussion.
Easier to access and refer to it in the future.
Easier for mobile users (there is no messaging in my app).
We can put everything in spoilers.
Hi everyone, Denisa and I have decided to read Girl, Interrupted
We've ordered our books and can't wait to get started!
Jack wrote: "It would be too confusing Jon. It said in the rules that it will be done by Goodreads PM."Dear Jack,
Is it okay that I started a thread for my trio? The PM's are a bit clunky for three.
Sincerely,
Melody
I will allow a thread for the three of you as I understand how it would be hard to communicate with each other.
Ina wrote: "Hi everyone Heartling and I will be reading
look forward to it!"
Ooh, I like that one Ina. I might have to read it myself.

I know! Apparently we both had it sitting there waiting to read! just out of curiosity look at
I think you might like it as well then...p.s. jumping threads just as disorienting (your doing well I suppose then)
Polly and I have decided to read Clockwork Angel. We haven't heard back from Deeann yet, but we are hoping she will agree since it is on her to-read list.
Jack wrote: "I hope you three enjoy it. And please let me know if you don't hear from Deeann soon."Heard for Deeann, we are all on board with our book.
Hi everyone. Jack are we supposed to post in this thread what we thought of the book? Denisa and I have finished reading Girl, Interrupted and really enjoyed both the book and this challenge.
Ok Jack. I think Denisa is going to post separately what she thought of the book, but I guess I'll kick things off. We both read the book in a couple of days and then sent several messages back and forth on our thoughts, which I think threw up more questions for us to consider.
Girl, Interrupted is a real life account of Susanna Kaysen, who in 1967, aged 18 was detained in a psychiatric hospital for the next 2 years. It details her memories of this stay, other inpatients and the musings on how appropriate her treatment was. This was later made into a film starring Winona Ryder and Angeline Jolie, but I haven't seen this.
I really enjoyed the writing style of the book and how it made me question the definitions of mental illness. I also liked finding out a little about other inpatients stories and the dynamics of the hospital she stayed at, which was famous for treating Ray Charles and Sylvia Plath.
I gave this book five stars, as it was a nice quick read (168 pages) that kept me captivated and amazed. I liked how it was a mix of the author's memories of events, interspersed with her actual medical notes. Fascinating stuff!
What I loved about this TBR pairing, other than discussing the book with Denisa, is how it made me pick a book I might not otherwise have considered to read next. Despite Denisa and I having hundreds of books on our TBR shelves, we only had 8 in common, so we picked a book and saved it from sliding further down the TBR pile! So glad I took part in this twins pairing and looking forward to next month :)
Missy and I has finally finished our book
Missy finished first and we've been keeping in touch through private messaging. Here's what I thought of the book...
I liked the story and even thought 'Hey this is something that can happen in real life', I mean even stranger things than this can happen. While reading it, I felt connected to the characters. The author has done a good job of letting the readers 'into the lives' of the characters, letting puzzles fall into pieces. The book started out to be great for me, it has a good plot, captivating perhaps, but towards the end, I felt it was rushed and some scenes seemed to annoy me. I think there should be an epilogue.
Overall, I liked it but not really really liked it. The story has mystery, suspense, conspiracy, angst and chemistry between Kate and Ryan :) I gave this book a rating of 3.5 out of 5.
I agree with my twin Missy, there should be a sort of companion novella for Mitch and Simone :)
I also would like to say, I enjoyed this TBR pairing with my twin Missy :)
I am looking forward to doing these again.
