Ohh I'm going into town tomorrow so I will try to pick up a copy! :) And I think a google+ hang out would be pretty cool :D
Yeah, I like the idea of a non-text based discussion, just trying to figure out how that would work.
Of course! You know basic chatting over a webcam, programs like Skype or FaceTime let you chat with people one-on-one. Google + is a social media site (like Facebook or goodreads) that has the very unique feature of a very good chat program that lets larger groups (sixish, not sure) all talk together. You don't need a webcam, there's also a typing feature. It would let us discuss the book sort-of together, despite being all over the place.
I don't suppose we could maybe use Skype instead? It also has a group text based chat. I only ask because RIGHT before this group was started, I deleted my Google+ account. If I'm the odd one out and everyone else is not interested in using Skype, I'll see if I can resurrect my account and lock down the security so random people aren't constantly pinging me.
Heather, we could give Skype a try, but I do really love the uses I've seen for the hangout program. Do you have a premium skype account? Because it looks like to do group video calls, we would need at least one member to have that.
If nothing else, I still have gmail chat, which does allow for multiple people in conversation at once. Maybe it'll work with the hangout thing.
Well, whatever it is, I want it to work for the most people possible. So we'll figure something out.
