On saturday conference, we went to temple square (cause my mom was doing a book signing there) but couldn't go to conference, because my bro & sis wernt old enough to go.
Yeah, u have to be 8, because you don't want little kids there.
Yep. i wish i could've gone, though

well we always make cinommon rolls!! yummy for my tummy! my fam and i cried with president moson's talk about the mom and her kids how they died and she burried them!!!! :(( it was sooo sad!!
We always have donuts on GC. And before the start of each talk, we all choose a different word, like 'prayer' or 'gospel' or 'Doctrine & Covenants,' and every time we hear it, we mark down a tally. Then each tally adds up to earn candy. It's my mom's way of making us pay attention.
Oh, and I agree, that story in President Monson's talk was SO sad! If you think about it, us Mormons nowadays don't have it that hard. I really like to hear about pioneers or related subjects to put things in perspective.
That sounds like a fun game!!!!!!! I should try it!!!! It really humbles me whenever I think about what the pioneers went through for us.

ugh! me neither. It's kinda eww. When i went someone near me had there phone on and was texting or something.
People shouldn't go to Conference if that's what they're going to do. Seriously, what a waste of time.
hi guys i'm actually a christian and was just wondering about LDS stuff could you kinda inform me more about your religion?
wait...its like mormons? i have mormon cousins and my friends sister just joined your religion? what is it?
well I couldn't say exactly what it is cause I can't describe stuff to great. but there is this website called LDS.org, and we have articles of faith that say what we believe too.
Well, LDS(Latter-Day Saints) is the same as Mormon. You can also go to mormon.org to learn more. Contrary to popular belief (at least where I live in Montana) Mormons are Christian. There are a few major differences between us and other Christians, though. Here's the ones I can think of, off the top of my head (by the way, I'm only a teenager and by no means an expert, so don't quote me):1. There is a living prophet today, and God still speaks to mankind through him, just like in the Bible.
2. The Bible is not the only sacred record we believe in. We also believe in the Book of Mormon, which is a record written hundreds of years ago by prophets in Ancient America by people there.
3. The church Jesus Christ established when he was on Earth has been restored, along with the priesthood, by Joseph Smith, Jr.,. We do not worship Joseph Smith, but we do honor and respect him, as he acted by God's authority to restore Christ's church, and he was the first latter-day prophet.
4. Jesus Christ, God, and the Holy Spirit/Holy Ghost are three seperate beings, with bodies.
5. We all existed before we were born on Earth in what we call the 'Pre-existance (?)' as spirits. Then the Plan of Salvation was introduced, and we were given the choice to come to Earth to live, learn, experience, and progress. We can live with God again through the Atonement of Jesus Christ.
There, I hope that wasn't too hard to follow and that I got it all right. So yeah, I would go those websites listed above and maybe look up the Articles of Faith. Hope that helped.

you amaze me alyssa! what i just say is the articles of faith:
1 We believe in God, the Eternal Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost.
We believe that men will be punished for their own sins, and not for Adam's transgression.
We believe that through the Atonement of Christ, all mankind may be saved, by obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel.
We believe that the first principles and ordinances of the Gospel are: first, Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; second, Repentance; third, Baptism by immersion for the remission of sins; fourth, Laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost.
We believe that a man must be called of God, by prophecy, and by the laying on of hands by those who are in authority, to preach the Gospel and administer in the ordinances thereof.
We believe in the same organization that existed in the Primitive Church, namely, apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers, evangelists, and so forth.
We believe in the gift of tongues, prophecy, revelation, visions, healing, interpretation of tongues, and so forth.
We believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly; we also believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God.
We believe all that God has revealed, all that He does now reveal, and we believe that He will yet reveal many great and important things pertaining to the Kingdom of God.
We believe in the literal gathering of Israel and in the restoration of the Ten Tribes; that Zion (the New Jerusalem) will be built upon the American continent; that Christ will reign personally upon the earth; and, that the earth will be renewed and receive its paradisiacal glory.
We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.
We believe in being subject to kings, presidents, rulers, and magistrates, in obeying, honoring, and sustaining the law.
We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul—We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.
