Copyright infringement is something any artist dreads, after having spent countless hours working on a project only to see it stolen on line. Even though goodreads are focused on books, I feel that any creative art and intellectual property should be addressed in this discussion. Because it’s something that concerns all of us; authors, musicians, film makers etc.

What is your opinion – the reader?

I'm interested in the readers’ opinion what they think about illegal download in general.

You are right about Pirate Bay, and there are several discussions about them in the media over here in (COLD) - Sweden.

I'm not against the individuals who download for private use or perhaps lending the "book" out to friends or any library on line - as long as the library did purchase the book. What I don’t like are the larger companies profiting on other peoples work.
