One of the best I have ever read was Sidney Poitier's The Measure of a Man: A Spiritual Autobiographyand another I really loved was the chef Grant Achatz's Life, on the Line: A Chef's Story of Chasing Greatness, Facing Death, and Redefining the Way We Eat.I also enjoyed Stephen Fry's Moab Is My Washpot and The Fry Chronicles but you would probably need to be a Stephen Fry fan to enjoy them as much as I did.
Thank you, Danielle! I am a Sidney Poitier fan so I will definitely check into that one. I absolutely love To Sir, With Love.
A recent autobiography that I read and enjoyed was "Mrs Kennedy and Me", written by her Secret Service agent during her time in the White House. His name is Clint Hill and it should be in your local library.
