The idea behind this thread is for us readers to create a story together, one sentence at a time. This time though, lets take the crazy up a notch. Have fun, build a story and let your imagination spin out of control.

Each commenter will write one sentence of the story per post and we'll see where our collective imagination will take us.

The dog sniffed at the oozing blue creature on the floor.

But then, the dog began to paw at the liquid coming out of what appeared to be the creature's 'ear'.

The canine yelped as it turned tail and ran off to search for easier pickings.

Shimmering pink and blue light filled the surrounding area.

Oprah place the newest copy of her magazine on the coffee table and left with out so much of as a goodbye.

The true form of the monster, it turned out, was that of a ginormous dog.

With lime green foam dripping from its mouth and blue cotton candy like fur sloughing off all over the ground.

The little boys at Pleasure Island yelled joyously and fell upon the creature, not realizing it was alive.

With a sickening squelch, the boys were absorbed into its blubbery mass.

One little boy, odd looking with donkey ears, staring with eyes wide, turned to run for the exit of the amusement park.

A squeal behind him stopped him in his tracks.

He turned his head around quickly, his donkey ears waggling like drunken elves on a warm winter's eve.

Alas, the donkey boy suffered whiplash and was of no help to anyone else.

So the donkey boy laid down and watched the lights flicker throughout the amusement park.

A pink and white polka dotted elephant rampaged through the scene nearly flattening his donkey head.

That elephant then spotted a mouse, which scared said elephant, making the pachyderm topple into a cart of Starburst jellybeans.

As Polka the Ellie tried to regain her balance, the jellybean exploded into the sky and rained fruit juice down on poor Donkey Boy.

Chocolate tears slid down donkey boy's face.

It was at this moment Donkey Boy leaped onto his hooves and decided to something he's never done before, fight back!

But can he fight back with a broken heart which posses no more confidence?
