Um, this happened to me why I couldn't do stuff. So it's just confirming email addresses for Goodreads. I get email notifications and that was canceled because I didn't verafy the address. So, in your settings where it has your email, under it should be (in red I think) a verafy option. You click that and it sends you an email, which you open

I supposedly fixed it. Yeah, I'm verified! :P
