Rebecca NJ (njreader) | 2120 comments Welcome to Team Moonstone! I'm very happy to see that a small portion of Team D gets to stick together! I will miss the others but the competition is now on!!

I am Rebecca and I live in New Jersey, just outside of Philadelphia. I am a reader of most genres - I'm just starting to get into romance thanks to most of you ;) and I'm willing to accept recommendations.

I am the "captain" of the group which really means I am more of the point of contact so if you have a question or a problem, be sure to ask. It is best to private message me as I do travel during the week and often check in via my phone which doesn't always show my group notifications.

The rest of the co-captains are Leslie, Vi and Chris who will help with setting up challenges and helping to keep us motivated.

We have some great things planned, including a captains challenge again.

If you want to post a few lines about a book you just finished, feel free to do so. We all want to keep that to-be-read pile stacking up, right!

Rebecca NJ (njreader) | 2120 comments Team Mini and Monthy Challenge Update

The captains have decided to clarify our challenge guidelines.

1. Any book finished within the selected dates can be used toward the challenges.
2. Books must be posted by 9:00 AM PDT (Noon EST) the following day in order for them to count. The captain in charge of the challenge will do their best to post the results within 24 hours.
3. Captains will only count the books if they are posted in this thread and you have indicated that you are using it for the "x" challenge.
4. If challenges are running simultaneously, you are more than welcome to use the same book more than once.

Remember, all mini and month long challenges are optional.

I moved mine down, Chris, so you could all be together.

@Chris - oohing and aahing like crazy!! I had to get my daughter to show me how - LK tried to explain it to me so many times I was embarrassed to ask again. I am learning challenged! And I'm imagining your daughters explaining to you what "shut the front" means. Too funny!
