Welcome to Team Moonstone! I'm very happy to see that a small portion of Team D gets to stick together! I will miss the others but the competition is now on!! I am Rebecca and I live in New Jersey, just outside of Philadelphia. I am a reader of most genres - I'm just starting to get into romance thanks to most of you ;) and I'm willing to accept recommendations.
I am the "captain" of the group which really means I am more of the point of contact so if you have a question or a problem, be sure to ask. It is best to private message me as I do travel during the week and often check in via my phone which doesn't always show my group notifications.
The rest of the co-captains are Leslie, Vi and Chris who will help with setting up challenges and helping to keep us motivated.
We have some great things planned, including a captains challenge again.
If you want to post a few lines about a book you just finished, feel free to do so. We all want to keep that to-be-read pile stacking up, right!
Team Mini and Monthy Challenge UpdateThe captains have decided to clarify our challenge guidelines.
1. Any book finished within the selected dates can be used toward the challenges.
2. Books must be posted by 9:00 AM PDT (Noon EST) the following day in order for them to count. The captain in charge of the challenge will do their best to post the results within 24 hours.
3. Captains will only count the books if they are posted in this thread and you have indicated that you are using it for the "x" challenge.
4. If challenges are running simultaneously, you are more than welcome to use the same book more than once.
Remember, all mini and month long challenges are optional.
Regarding our team mini challenges, as long as the books are finished within the dates set by the challenge captain, they will count.CURRENT CHALLENGES

I thought maybe we should put up a sign with "Shut the front door!" then my kids told me what it meant.

My potty mouth daughters tell me it is a nice way of saying "Shut the **** up". I don't know where they learn stuff like that...
I just hope somebody comments on my pretty moonstones - it took me an hour to figure out how to post the pictures (even with the instructions!)

Wow, I leave to take a shower and the thread exploded!@Chris - oohing and aahing like crazy!! I had to get my daughter to show me how - LK tried to explain it to me so many times I was embarrassed to ask again. I am learning challenged! And I'm imagining your daughters explaining to you what "shut the front" means. Too funny!
@Kristin - I'm okay with Moonshine!! We could go with that. Our team kicking back!!
We look ready for some serious sh*t!!
Kristin wrote: "Well what's even worse is I was trying to tell my husband about our team and instead of saying Moonstone I kept saying Moonshine."lol

Kristin hi neighbor I live in Evans!!!! We are going to have to meet up at Barnes and Noble one day soon!!!
@Chris and Marguerite ~ the Masters is ALL my husband has been talking about. I don't really care one way or another but he keeps feeling the need to keep me posted on what is going on with Tiger. Which again, sorry hubby, I don't really care.... I know that is terrible of me
@Marguerite - there must be alot of excitement there! Almost as much as on this thread!! We all seem slightly giddy with finally having found the right thread! How about Moonstone Madness? Any other ideas?
Off to Mass! I'm almost afraid to see what happens on this thread when I get back! I am going to miss this next week!!
