How to "Refresh" a Member's Total or Add a Comment to Their "view books" Screen:

We are using ♥Robin♥ on Atomic Tangerine for this example:



• Scroll down to your friends, who are listed first, or down futher to "community."
• Click on either the percent numbers or the words "view books" (red arrow)
• You can enter a comment on this screen (blue arrow), if you desire, or wait for the next one.



• On this screen you can see her total books jumped from 2 to 4.

• If you click on her name (blue arrow), it will hyperlink to her Profile page.

• Pink arrow shows comments by other members.



• If you hit the back arrow to go back to the community page, you'll see she is back to 2 books; just refresh the page.

• The Total goal for all participants may take anywhere from 15 - 30 minutes.

• The cache usually updates every night sometime after 9 p.m. PST.

You all will be getting a "heavy hitter" - Dragana (250 books)! She will make up for the loss of Mary and Teresa.

New feature coming: link to member's "view books" screen. Blue font indicated there is a hyperlink, as member joined sucessfully; black indicated no hyperlink, as member has not yet done so.

Remember, you can hyperlink to member's Profile from that screen.

One thing I figured out and corrected is my goal for the challenge, it's 150 now as it originally was for a year. I somehow missed the ending date being in April, 2014. Sry for the mess, captains.

It looks like it's going to take a whole year to reach the 1350 books per team.

Hello, hello, welcome team! I'm so glad to be a part of this awesome team (we're totally going to kick butt, right?).

The lovely Maria Heleana and I are currently working on getting a mini-challenge set up for us, which I'm sure will be a great motivator for us all. :D

I think for the moment the team's main chat will be kept here. I don't know if the mods will move it over at some point.

READ-A-THON UPDATES

There are some misunderstanding about ALL the team members needed to participate to get points.

Well, they DON'T

If a team has 12 members and only 4 want to participate, that team can still earn all the points available.

We'll consider that team a team of FOUR elements to the Read-a-Thon only.

Anyone else wants to do the read-a-thon?

My goal will be 2000 pages.

I'm in for the read-a-thon. I think I'll go for 1000 pages. This should make about 3-4 books.

I'm interested, but since I'm going on mini road trip with my husband from 2nd until 6th may I am not sure I will be able to post updates or come and visit team/readathron page. I don't want to stop you from winning some extra points because maybe I will not be here to react in time. I'm not sure if I will have internet connection and if I will be able to post progress.
What do you think?

Dragana, I think you can give updates until 12th, so there should be no problems if you want to participate.
