Fantasy Book Club Series discussion

Our lighter side summer series read begins on June 1st with Roger Zelazny's Nine Princes in Amber.

Brenda, who nominated the series earlier this month, agreed to help lead the discussion for the series read. She's open to assistance and suggestions, so volunteer if you feel so called.

Thanks to everyone for the great nominations and all the votes. I'm looking forward to diving into both of these summer blockbuster series.

I read those books a few years ago (or probably several years ago). Might do that again :)

Time to get The Great Book of Amber:)

My local library has a copy of The Great Book of Amber: The Complete Amber Chronicles 1-10, so I will be pretty set to read this series :)

I've read the first 5 books 3 times and then second 5 twice. Probably will not reread but may check in to follow the discussion.

I just read the first book last year in December, I believe. This is coming at a good time for me because I'd like to read the rest of them. I hadn't read any of these before then.

I've forgotten how many times I have read this
series, but it never gets old for me.

This book marked my return to fantasy and sci-fi reading, it'd sat on my shelf for years (I bought it when it was released) and finally read it a couple of years ago - I kick myself for allowing it to sit there unread and unenjoyed for so long, this book kicks off a really enjoyable series. What a fun ride!

ive just finished Nine Princes in Amber and really enjoyed it. I think i will hang off till June before continuing now with the next 4 books.

I just started Sign of the Unicorn. I'm reading ahead of the group discussion since I'm a slow reader. hehe.
