Hi. My name is Steven Kerry. I'm the author of a novel set in Los Angeles called "My Strange Little Oasis", and it is the story of a handsome gay public relations man who, after being on HIV medications for over a decade, becomes facially disfigured It's 2000: is it caused by the virus or the meds? It's a mystery, and turns his life upside down, for he'd also hoped to find a partner. He retreats into a state of isolation and decides to quietly end his life, but an "alternative spirit" from the other side and his best friends mobilize to make sure he doesn't succeed in leaving planet earth. His spirit guide leads him to the most unlikely of places, an obscure sex club with one very big "heart on" called The Oh Aces. This book was published in trilogy form, and is full of humor, despite its dark subject matter. I hope some of you will check it out and my blogs on this site. Steven
