Bonding ceremonies, flight tests, and games are all things done here.

Saff gripped her elbows and edged forward, trying to stay as far away from the drakis as she could. She kicked off her boots and pulled of her clothes so they wouldn't get shred to pieces when she transformed. She looked around to make sure no one was looking before slipping her necklace into a secret pocket in her shirt, though that wouldn't do much go if a draki was determined to steal her sapphire. She took a deep breath and let her draki side take control.
Glenda and Thundra entered the flight field, and were guided to the middle of the field. "these are your newest residences, Glenda and Thundra Hope," an older man announced.
he gestured to Glenda, "hi, I'm Glenda... " she began, "I'm a fire draki..." she said, then she striped from her cloths and manifested.
Saff let out a soft sigh and shook her muscles. She stretched out her wings and lifted off, trying to ignore the visiocryptors who followed her every move. She kept an eye on the new fire draki, it had been a very long time since anyone had seen one; aside from the leader's sister.
Glenda didn't fly, she just stood next to Thundra.her gaze moved around to every draki
'i wonder what they think of us.. will they clip our wings? how long will we stay here Glenda?'
i shake my head, trying to ignore the voice.
Saff couldn't fly very far from her escorts without one of them giving off a warning grumble. She sighed and circled back to land on the field. She noticed the fire draki hadn't taken off yet. She walked close to the other draki and hesitantly said in draki tongue, "w- want to fly with me?"
Glenda examined the shader's face."sure," she smiled.
then she bent down and told Thundra to stay here, and that she would be back soon.
i looked back at the draki, its pearly white scales looked beautiful, "you look very nice. I've never met a shader before. your more rare then i am," she smiled sweetly.
Glenda tilted her head slightly, "Oh? that doesn't make you any less rare though," she smiled.she gestured towards the air, "shall we fly?"
Saff nodded and lifted off again. The visiocryptors backed off and she relaxed a little. "How long has your brother been able to manifest?" She asked quietly so as not to be overheard.
"His eyes, they are not those of one who hasn't manifested." Saff said softly, relaxing further as the visiocryptors dropped even further back.
she looked down at her brother, "he first manifested when he was three.. but my parents didn't believe me when i said he did.."
"That's quite young.... What is he?" Saff asked softly, wondering whether the other draki would be able to hear her over the wind.
"hes just a water draki. but hes terrified of the water..." she giggled a little, "it's kind of strange. i wish i could tried him though, i would love to be able to swim again, without being in pain from the water touching my skin for a long time," Glenda admitted.
"You could ask a verda about that, they might have something which could help." Saff suggested quietly, looking at her claws.
"maybe, thanks.""and thanks for asking me to fly, this was fun," Glenda smiled as all drakis flew down.
i was ending, the welcome ceremony was over.
Glenda nodded, "alright, it was nice meeting you, I'm Glenda, maybe I'll see you at school," shes smiled.
Saff nodded at Glenda and surged ahead. She was sick of her so called 'bodyguards'. The point of flying was freedom, without freedom all that was accomplished was the stretching of muscles. She called her mist and flew faster. She heard grunts as the visiocryptors flew into her mist.Saff flew faster, tasting freedom. A flash of black crossed her peripheral vision and her tail lashed in frustration. "What are you doing?" The onyx asked, glaring at her. She didn't answer, thinking fast.
She felt a prick in her leg but paid it no attention and made a decision. She forced her manifest away, becoming human and falling to the ground. She forced her fear down so she could remain human and called her mist again, letting it shield her as she fell so the onyx wouldn't just grab her.
Her mind went fuzzy as she plummeted to the forest and wondered vaguely if she would fall to her death.
Glenda landed on the ground and hugged her brotherHe pointed in the sky "lookie" he whispered
Glenda watched as her flying partner fell from the sky
She found Holly and told her to watch Thundra
Then she grabbed her close and flew as fast as she could
Glenda focuses on where she fell. She hears something behind her. She turns her gaudy to find a earth draki fallowing her, she rolls her eyes, "they got me a shadow already?"
She swoops down into the thick trees.
She un- manafests and gets dressed.
So does the boy.
Glenda ignores him and starts looking for her.
Jett looked around, wanting to show Saff how fast he could fly but didn't see her. Knowing she didn't really like other people so he thought she had most likely left already. His wings drooped for a moment, he had really wanted to show her.
Glenda smiled when she saw no one else was at the flight field. She scouted the ground for Saff's gem, then the seats, but found nothing, "could it be at her house?" Glenda asked herself.
Glenda noticed someone, "hi," she ran up and smiled, "I'm Glenda," she looked around the person, "have you seen a sapphire?" She asked knowing the answer was no.
Glenda bit her lip, "a friend of mine forgot it.." She didn't care if she gave away information; as long as she didn't say where Saff was, then they were still safe.
"That's a lie." Jett said, though he wasn't certain for sure. Saff was always so sad, she said he was her only friend. Though she could have made some when she left.
Glenda shook her head, "no it's not.. I was sent back to get it for her.. She figured the pride would except me back earlier then her.." She lied, but had enough pain in her voice to make it believable, "and I have to find a friend of hers to tell them she's okay and misses them..."
Glenda looked the guy over, "Jett... Do you know him?" She asked, hoping he could help her find Jett then got Saff's gem and get out.
Glenda jumped slightly, "oh, we'll Saff misses you a lot and wishes she could see you again, but she can't come back," Glenda told him.
Jett sagged. "Oh." He said, his face showing how sad he was at the prospect of not seeing Saff again.
Glenda bit her lip, "I'm sure you can see her again.." She thought about offering him to come with them, but she had no where for him to stay, "if you left.. You could move to the same please she's at?" She offered, then noticed the gem in his hands, but thought it would be best to stay focused on Jett right now.
Glenda shook her head, "I-I don't know... It's something you could talk to them about? Or you could just make the desolation, I guess.." Glenda sat next to him, "I know this is hard for you, but you don't have to do it, if you don't feel it's right," she didn't want to pressure him into it.
Glenda nodded, "I understand," she said with a soft smile, "maybe if you talk about it with them, you could all move?" She offered, wondering if his parents would want to leave the pride.
Glenda was silent for a moment, she wasn't sure what to say or do now. She looked down at her hands and then her stomach.
"Do you have a baby in there too?" Jett asked, seeing her act like that. His mom acted like that too and she said she had his little sister in her tummy.
Glenda jumped slightly, "umm.. Ya.." She looked at Gildor to make sure he was far enough away and couldn't hear them.
