Jacob Rayne | 36 comments Has anyone read Cuts? It's the last one I need to read... except for the Wilds

Adam Light (goodreadscomadamlight) | 61 comments Haven't been able to find that one, although I haven't really done an exhaustive search.

Joe Stamber I've read Cuts and found it to be pretty typical Laymon. Not his best but definitely worth reading. Amazon UK have it new and used for a decent price.

Adam Light (goodreadscomadamlight) | 61 comments Is that his only short story collection?

message 5: by Joe (new)

Joe Stamber Adam, Cuts isn't a short story collection it's a novel. The Laymon collections I am aware of are Fiends , Dreadful Tales , Madman Stan and Other Stories and A Good, Secret Place: A Collection of Stories . I only know about these from websites though, I have no experience of them.

Adam Light (goodreadscomadamlight) | 61 comments Oh. I guess the title threw me. Thanks for setting that straight.

Jacob Rayne | 36 comments Fiends and Dreadful tales are good, but I haven't read all of the stories in each.

Erin | 4 comments Just started it today, so far so good! Was lucky enough to find a few of his books at a used book store this morning.

Jacob Rayne | 36 comments Got this a few days ago. It's next on the to-read pile!

Danny (dannyar) | 14 comments I read the Wilds. It was fun - pretty typical Laymon, but more of a twist at the end than I have come to expect from him. I recommend it (but warn that it is a novella, if you didn't know that). I consider that a warning because I find shorts and novellas less satisfying.

Jacob Rayne | 36 comments Where did you fnd that, Danny? I've only seen ridiculously expensive versions of it

message 12: by Adam (new)

Adam Light (goodreadscomadamlight) | 61 comments I just started The Cellar. I have been excited about this one, and planned to read it down the road a bit, but in a bout of indecision about which Laymon to read next, it won out.

message 13: by Erin (new)

Erin | 4 comments Can anyone tell me what's going on with my copy of the book? Did I get some messed up version or are all copies like this? Page 280 goes to page 57 and I've noticed a few other typo's....

message 14: by Joe (new)

Joe Stamber Hi Erin, if you mean Cuts then I have read it and I don't remember anything odd like you've experienced. Maybe it's a bit of the old Laymon supernatural!

message 15: by Danny (new)

Danny (dannyar) | 14 comments Jacob, it is included with the latest release of Friday Night at the Beast House (ISBN 9781428508217), as they are both novellas.
