Otto slinked up the long drive and morphed into her human form and unlocked the towering door. She pushed it open and walked inside. She shut the door and put Lynx on the floor so he could run around. Otto ran up the large staircase until she reaches the fifth floor. She opened her bedroom door and walked in. She pounce on her bed and fell asleep.

Otto woke up and pulled on a swimsuit. She morphed back into her shadow and flew to the lake.

Otto began to walk up the huge drive with Ash and Essence. The castle towered high and she felt awkward for some reason.

Ash walked behind her, he held his sticks and pick in his hands.

"This is the place. "Otto said, unlocking the lahe door and pushing it open. Lynx came running down the gigantic staircase and Otto scooped him up when he reached her.

Ash nods, "Nice." He says.

((MY DAD JUST SAID HE LIKED BABY PENGUINS AND THE POLAR BEARS THAT ATE THEM! WTH IS WRONG WITH HIM!?))

((Must go to sleep. Night my friends.))

"Thanks. I live in a castle all alone with a huge library. What more could a girl ask?"she said the last part sarcastically.

"A library, i'd love to see that," she smiles.

Otto stood there and pet Lynx like a villain with a freaky hairless cat. Otto backed into the foye and looked to Ash as if to ask for help

Ash looks at her, "I don't think we should be exploring right now." He says to Essence.

"Oh," she frowns then moves back to Ash's side, "okay."

"I should show you where you can stay so you can adjust and move your stuff in..."Otto said, putting Lynx down and looking back to Ash.

Ash nods, "Thank you." He says.

Essence just stands there feeling awkward.

Otto lead him up the stairs until they reached the sixth floor. She the led him down a long hall way until she reached a black towering door. She pushed the door open to reveal a grand bedroom.

Ash looks at it, his jaw dropped, he never had a real bedroom before. Just the celler in the basement.

"It's not much, but it's obviously a improvement from your old conditions. The bathroom is the room beside your walk in closet over there"she said, rambling about the items in the room.

((Essence stayed in the foyer so I'll just wait until you guys go back there :D))

Ash nods and looks around, touching the walls gently, "It's amazing." He says softly.

"I made all this. I worked hard on it. Took years. That's why I have no social life"she said, laughing at how pathetic she was.

((Oh my god, I keep coming back here just to read your guy's responses, I'm like on the edge of my seat, lol :D))

Ash looks at her, "I made my first friend today." Ash says. His grey eyes sad, "The only time I get out is when I go painting."

"I only leave when I feel like going somewhere of nature to read"she said, taking small steps towards him. They were slow and nervous steps and her footing was a bit shaky.

Ash didn't do anything, hardly noticing her stepping forward, "I leave any chance I get." He sighs.

"I prefer the quiet life. I guess I should show you my room so you know where I am if you have any questions"Otto said, shrugging slightly. She lead him out into the long hall way and opened the door across from his. "And this is my room"she said, walking inside and looking around for herself.

Ash didn't walk into the room, afraid he'd be intruding.

"You can come in"Otto said softly to him, looking him in the eyes. His soft grey eyes...

Ash shakily took a step in, nodding. He didn't say anything as he looked around.

"I painted the mural above my bed..."Otto said to him, walking over to her bed and sitting down. She patte the spot beside her and motioned for him to sit down.

He was shaky on his legs as he slowly made his way over. He wasn't comfortable with this. His palms were sweating like crazy.

"Are you okay?"she asked him nervously, facing him.


((This should turn into a make out scene. I'm serious))

Ash shrugs, "Feels weird." He whispers.

"How? You can talk to me"she said to him softly


((How long have Ash and Essence been dating? And have they made it official?))

Ash shrugs, "doesn't feel like normal." He mutters.

"What? Talking? Because I know how you feel"she said to him, looking down at her scarred arms, legs, chest, and stomach. She was still wearing her bathing suit from the lake.

Ash sees her scars, but doesn't ask what happened, it was none of his buisness, and if it was as horrifying as his, she probably wouldn't want to talk about it anyways, "No. Being in a place I'm not going to be whipped." He rubs his chest.

"Well, your safe here. And you can trust me. Right?..."she asked, beginning to question herself again. She could just reach under neath her pillow and grab her knife... Then it would all be okay, she thought. She quickly snapped out of it and looked back at Ash.

Ash nods, "Yah." He looked to the floor, he could almost hear his father screaming, then the warm blood going down his back, his wrists, and face....

Otto nodded. She felt a urge to lean forward and kiss him. She quickly shook it off again and let the feeling of her nice cold knife going through her skin. The blood slowly pooling out of her skin in bubbles. The sense of relief and the pain gone....

((Ahhh a cutter, I was curious.))

Ash lays back, he couldn't help it anymore as he starts singing, "Deep in the meadow...." ((I have that song memorized! XD))

((Yep. ))

Otto laid down beside him and listened to him singing. It was so peaceful with him. She enjoyed the soft singing.

Ash smiles as he sings, he had a wonderful voice, perfect....

Otto joined in with his singing and they harmonized. She had an amazing voice, but she never used it.
