This thread is where we will discuss the books of the month. What do you think of them? Are you enjoying them? Have you tried any of the recipes & if so how did they come out?

I'm really enjoying
It's an interesting book. The books looks at the business aspect of how/why these food companies have spent so much time & money on creating this society of pre-made foods & ultimately how it effects us all. I'm only about 25% in but enjoying it so far. Has anyone else read this or started it yet? Thoughts?
I read
the week it was released and really enjoyed it. It does a great job of laying out the history of processed foods and how we got to the point we are at now in our nation's eating patterns.
I just finished reading this. Fascinating, but I didn't think any of it was a surprise. I wish there had been a little more information on the physiology of food, and how salt, sugar, and fat really affect our bodies.
