J. Can someone please, just please, give me the ending? I can't find it anywhere in the world wide net. Please, people. I hope someone out there can give me a copy. The copy or rather ebook I have with me is incomplete. It stops with Erin's poem gift to Lauren. Please give me. I can't finish the book without knowing what happened in the next few paragraphs. Thank you for sharing.

Angieleigh J, if you go here and sign up, you can have someone lend it to you.

I'd send you my ARC, but it's digital and I'm not allowed to share it. Sorry :(

message 5: by J. (new) - rated it 3 stars

J. In the epilogue. The part where Erin's poem "hundred..." was given to Lauren. It was cut in that part. So now, I can't finish the book because even in the internet, it is not complete. Sad. :(

fabby you know that as far as my book went too do you know how it ends?

Consuelav hi, in my book the poem is complete (and that's the end, it doesn't say anything else after), but now i have doubts if this is the end or not....
"hundreds of stars in the pretty sky,
hundreds of shells on the shore together,
hundreds of birds that go singing by,
hundreds of lambs in the sunny weather,
hundreds of dewdrops to greet the dawn,
hundreds of bees in the purple clover,
hundreds of butterflies on the lawn,
but only one mother the wide world over."

J. Maybe it is really the end. But at least now I know what the end of Erin's poem. Thank you for sharing. :)

Cyn That is not the end. There are 2.5 pages after the poem in my book. I will try to sum it up...The last line of the poem "but only one mother the wide world over" was inside the card and underneath in Erin's handwriting it said " Can I call you mom?" she says" of course you can " then there are tears and Michael calls Erin to go clean up the mess she made in the kitchen. Michael tells Lauren that he had no idea she was going to do that and that she had asked for her allowance early to get something and went to the store with her neighbor. Michael asks Lauren if she stared at Erin with a blank look for 10 minutes before answering like she did when he proposed and she said no she just liked watching him squirm. Then Michael tells her that he had never believed in maternal instincts because of his mom and Erin's mom but seeing how great Lauren was with Erin he now believes and thinks that she is an awesome mom to her. Lauren is touched and asks if he thinks that she's amazing enough to be the mother of 2? Michael is stunned and she says that she took the test that morning and he kisses her and her belly. She asks him if he's ready for it and he says "without a doubt" and she asks if he ready for "the swollen ankles, mood swings, the middle-of-the night trips to get me some impossible-to-find flavore of ice cream?" he laughs and says "I'll get you everything you could want, I promise". Then the next and last line of the book is "And Lauren smiled, because lying there beside him, with his child growing in her belly, she already had it".

Rashika (is tired) WHAT I THOUGHT IT ENDED WITH THE POEM!
:O
DAMN.
That's not cool :/
Thanks for summarizing.

Thanks so much. It's weird reuniting with a book after so long. It was a pleasant surprise that ending.
