2 years ago i read this book and i'll never forget it ..

The first of Coelho's books I read was Alchemist. In the beginning I thought Coelho was an insightful author. But after reading more of the same I begin to develop a nagging suspicion that he's selling snake oil.

I don't think I want to waste my life reading more of his stuff.

The Alchemist is a terrific book. I shared it with my mom and other family members.

It is one of my all-time favorite!

I'll be handing out 20 special edition copies as Giver for World Book Night Apr 23, 2013 this year. So excited to share this book with light/non readers to inspire more reading!
