Talk about all the many companions of Doctor Who here. Favorites, dislikes, sad deaths.
*Starts to uncontrollably sob*

I love Rose, Jack, Martha, Donna, Amy, and Rory. They're all amazing and work so well with the Doctor and....UGH! Words don't describe how emotionally invested you get into their stories.

The only one I didn't like was Mickey. He always seemed a little lame until the fourth season.

Rose will always hold a very, very, very special place in my heart, however. You don't forget your first companion.

Mickey? Really? I enjoy Mickey, but only in the age of Steel.
I prefer Mickey as to Martha.

Rory is-and always will be- hands down my favorite.
Then comes Clara/Oswin. I really enjoy watching her.
"Rescue me chin boy, and show me the stars."
Of course, Rose. Love her.
Then Donna, not that I don't absolutely love her, and finally Amy and Jack.

Rose, loved her so much. And Donna. She was awesome. I like Amy in the 6th and 7th series but not so much in the 5th. I did love Rory. Jack was just well Jack, totally awesome. I like Martha but she did annoy me just a little.. And I think Clara is awesome and very excited to find out more about her .
Of the classics loved Sarah Jane Smith and the Brigader.. actually I could keep going but I might stop now..

I like Amy far more in Season Seven and the end of Six. Rory and Jack are TOTALLY amazing. Martha annoys me too, and Clara I think is amazing.

Yep.. thats the short answer. I know a lot of people didn't like Rose, and i'm not sure why cause I thought she was awesome.

Rose is amazing. :) I love her. She's tied with Rory and Clara.

Yeah I'm very excited that her and Tennant are coming back for the 5oth!

Also, for about a year now, I've been predicting Rupert Grint will play the twelfth Doctor...He is going to be in the fiftieth anniversary too!! :D

What really?? I didn't know that. You sure?? I know I have heard people say that want him to be the 12th doctor, but im not sure why I just really don't want him to be.. I would quite like it if Benedict Cumberbatch was in Doctor who. Not necessarily the doctor (though he would be awesome) but another role. maybe the master? after all he is very good at playing the bad characters.

Yes, but I'm pretty sure that Benedict Cumberbatch has confirmed that he wouldn't do that.

Oh my gosh Time Hiddleston as the Doc would be PERFECT! :D

I know he doesn't want to be The Doctor but he could be in it in another capacity. Like the master. I really hope they bring him back, as he is so awesome! Love john simm..

THANK YOU! Rose holds a special place in my heart that no one else can take up! Jack is AWESOME, and Donna is HILARIOUS. I don't particularly like any of the others and I HATE Martha Jones. *grr* The Doctor totally replaced Rose! Then she goes and falls in love with him! And to top it all off, she leaves him and breaks his hearts! I was glad when she left but she really hurt the Doctor and that cannot be forgiven!

I agree. Rose is great. I don't really understand why some people dislike her. The only reason I can find is because she MIGHT be a little bit whiny at times. But that's rare.

Yeah! I love her!!!! The only one I'm not really a fan of is Donna.

Why don't you like Donna? You can't just say something like that and not give an explanation.

For me I tend to like them all but I have an order...

Rose - she was my first and will stay in a special place
Amy/Rory and Clara - all tied for second

As for classic it would have to be Sarah Jane.

You can't help but loving Donna. I had my mind set on hating her when she popped up in her wedding dress into the TARDIS but she is just so funny, I couldn't help but love her.

Whenever I am asked to choose a favourite I just want to curl up and cry, because I love them all in different ways. (I am exactly the same with the "favourite doctor?" question)

For me, Donna and Rory are the best. Donna is hilarious, and Rory is just plain amazing.

I've never been a fan of Rose, although I can't really say why. I just didn't like her as an actress I guess.

Hmm. I haven't seen much of Mickey or Donna so I'll reserve judgement 'til I see some more of them.

@Alex- my thoughts precisely! Choosing a favourite IS JUST SO DIFFICULT! Depending on what one I'm currently watching, they're most likely my favourite for the moment.

Yes! I feel like such a traitor when I name one as a favorite instead of another.

Yeah, so I go back and forth a lot. :D
But right now it's Rory, Clara and Rose. ^^
I can NEVER EVER choose a favorite Doctor. I love the character "The Doctor". He'll always be my Doctor so I could never choose.

Ha! I can chose really easy(but now you guys are making me feel guilty! BOO HOO!). Tenth Doctor and Rose are on the top of the list. Hate Amy, Martha, and River.

Seconded. (I have somewhat of a a dislike for River and Martha so I know my reasonings...)

Well, Amy thinks that the Doctor is "hers" and she gave birth to River. Martha, because she was too obsessed with the Doctor not loving her and I just felt that he had replaced Rose. River, well, you know what she did. >:(

I like rose

clara is defo my favourite, loved rose and donna and martha and amy and rory too.

Rose was the one I never really liked, but I respected her because of Ten's love for her.

Mickey was the underrated helper, and I loved him because he was just...awesome. he had one of the best character development, and I felt so bad for him when Rose just kept treating him like he was unimportant

Jack was..just...Jack

Martha. Now don't get me started on Martha. Martha was by far my least favorite. I get the whole "everyone hates Martha only because she was right after Rose" thing, but seriously, Martha was just plain rude. She ignored the fact that the Doctor was heartbroken and asked from him more than he was willing to give

Now Donna. Now we're talking. Martha was amazing. She was my favorite companion (I'm reffering to Nine through Ten's companions, because in my opinion, season five became an almost completely different show). Donna was fantastic!

When I first met Amy, I wanted to strangle her. she was stupid and took advantage of her wonderful fiance. But then the show kept going, and she found her true love and I fell in love with her and Rory.

Rory is the mindbogglingly perfect man. I loved him infinitely.Gaaah! <3 <3 <3

Haven't gotten to Clara yet so I cannot say whether I like her or not.

Thank you. :) I actually liked Martha more than Rose. Rose was my least favorite companion.

My favorite companions were Donna and Rory, I also liked Jack, Rose, and Martha well. I didn't like Amy that much, same goes to Clara.

Favourites on order are...
1) Rose
2) Rory
3) Clara
4) Amy
5) Donna
6) Martha
7) Mickey

Least favourites are Martha and Mickey. Mickey, to me, is just way anything and Martha is just... I dunno. I just didn't like them.
