Make anything you want!! :D Stop asking me! >:P
xDD Okay c(: Cool! Thanks. ^^ I just ... don't want to make anything you don't want ... or something :/ :P xDD
But just because I don't want it doesn't mean it's bad, or other people won't! :D
I've got the extended editions. Watched all of them with the cast commentary a couple times. Love them!My brother-in-law and I tried having a marathon, but we fell asleep before the end of part 2 of The Two Towers. Oh well, I pretty much know them by heart.
We've got the extended editions of all of them - we like watching them on long car trips.
Awesome! :D We just watched all the extended scenes last night for the first half of the Fellowship :P Yes, it means they aren't in order, or anything, but we didn't have time to watch the entire movie over again :P
Yes! <3 It's so sad ... some of my friends bought the theatrical editions and have never seen the extended editions ... so many epic scenes they're missing :'(I love the extra scenes of the Shire in the Fellowship:)
After they came out on dvd the extendeds are the only version i have watched. And then when they came out on blu ray i bought that box. cant wait for the hobbit movies extended 3d versions:):):)
How I first watched the LOTR trilogy was by watching the extended versions, I can't imagine watching the theatrical version. :)
FantasyFan J wrote: "GAHHHH I WANT TO WATCH THESE SO BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"Ditto. They seem amazing but our library - despite its epicness - only owns The Return of the King Extended Edition. Argh.

Where am I able to rent them? My local Blockbuster Movie Rentals went out of business a few years ago, and that was before a cared about Lord of the Rings. I've seen on WB Shop it's $45 or something, and that's surprisingly good on Blu-Ray, and I've seen it in Costco Stores for the Blu-Ray set also for 45. What about the Hobbit though? Is that extended edition good?

Umm...I don't know. o.o I haven't seen the extended edition of The Hobbit yet, though. :( I would hope it's really, really good, but I just don't know.
This is going to sound snobbish, but I have never seen anything but the extended editions. I have no clue what's omitted in the normal version but considering what's left out of the movie adaptations already I can't imagine what the normal version would look like.

My dad is the one that introduced me to the Middle Earth realm. Him,being the nerd that he is, got the extended version of all three.
I want the extended editions so bad. It's on my list along with the collector sets of the Harry Potter movies. Cast commentary is always one of my favorite things in movies and I've always heard that these are completely worth it!

Anyway - what I want to know; do any of you guys have the extended editions? How're you enjoying them? Discuss them here! :)
