What is a Follow Train? A Follow Train is a way to get more followers. What you do is post the link to your blog in the comments and compromise to follow everyone else that does so, as well as they compromise to follow you.

There are many threads around the group to gain more followers, but we thought we would make weekly threads of Follow Trains were we can make sure that everyone that participates is following back.

The follow trains will last only a few days, that way the number of bloggers one must follow won't be overwhelming and it will be easier to keep track on who you must or who you're already following.

NOTE: This post is NOT A FOLLOW TRAIN, this is just where you can information about them.

If you have any questions post them in the comments section here, DO NOT LEAVE LINKS TO YOUR BLOG. They will be treated as Spam and deleted.

To participate in the Follow Trains look in this folder.

Finally, some organization! I hope this helps to cut back on Follow for a Follow posts that are EVERYWHERE.

A few questions:

1. What if someone's under 18 so can't follow adult blogs? Surely they don't deserve to not be able to participate in future follow trains. (I'm 22 but I know some YA bloggers are under 18 and I wanted to pose this question for them)

2. I personally prefer to only follow fellow book bloggers or authors. Can there be a separate follow train for those with non-bookish blogs?

3. Not related to the follow train but further to what Cain has said, does this mean there's now going to be regular moderation in the group? (This is my favourite Blogging group but it's difficult to navigate for if you want something other than follows)

4. Back to the Follow train: Can we have everyone post their username for how people will be following? I've seen people in follow for follows not following back and it's rude and defeats the object.

Finally: Why did you put the date backwards? I thought the train was running from May to August. (This one's light hearted, I'm British!)

Thanks for mentioning that YA and Adult blogs! We'll have follower trains for both of them, as well as GFC only trains, or Twitter only in the future.

As for the dates I changed them to the month, to make it less confusing.

As for organization in the group I will be sending a message asking for new mods that can help keep the group as spam-free as possible, delete old threads and keep things clean and organized. So yes, I'll try to make the group much more easier to navigate :)

Wow, so many interesting blogs! I'm just planning to start my own on Blogger platform, but I'm still getting ready. Tell me (if someone has a blog on the same platform) did you use templates or create the design yourself? But I'm afraid to face technical difficulties.

I have a blog on Blogger and I used a template. I used the Simple Literate theme and adapted it width wise and color wise. I worked on perfecting my blog layout for about a week.
