Kitty woke up, streching, and walked onto the deck, smelling the fresh sea air, again.
She held back a smile. "It's my job as captain to be formal and take my father's place."
"It depends on how seriously you take the job. You know who my father was. To me that means I do."
She shrugged. "I guess I don't really know the answer. But.. You do bring up a brilliant point, Lir." She smiled. "Perhaps I do take it a bit too seriously."
She stuck her tongue out back.
She giggled and then cleared her throat. She hated it when she giggled. It sounded so... girly.
She pursed her lips and stared out at the horizon. Why was it she was always like that around Lir?
She glared up at him, but was still grinning.
She laughed and walked around the deck, making sure all was in order.
She looked up and went into the crow's nest with Lir. "Does it look like an enemy?"
She grabbed another telescope and looked out. "It looks like... a trading ship." She grinned. "Ready for a raid?"
She set up cannons and when they were close enough, "Fire!"
((Lir, not Kayo))
Laya drew her guns.
Laya drew her guns.
((I know what that's like))
She leaped onto the other ship and went to find the captain.
She leaped onto the other ship and went to find the captain.
She found the captain and dragged him up to the deck.
The captain looked up and tried to negotiate with Lir, thinking he was the captain.
"Over here, buck-o." She said. "I'm captain." The captain looked confused.
((brb, lunch))

"I'm feeling merciful today. You and your crew can get on that little life boat there and go to land." She shrugged. "I'd usually kill you all."
She shrugged. "He can take what's left."
"Says the man in the treasure troves!" She called after him.
She watched the remaining crew members go off into the lifeboat and then she went down to help the others.
She nodded. "We've been running low."
When they were done, Laya went back to her ship.
Once everyone was on, she gave the order to fire at will. The ship started sinking. "Cease fire!"
"Always have to be so formal?" She smirked and walked off to supervise the loading of the food.
She shrugged. "I don't know. I just seem... Happy today. I'm in a good mood. I could afford to be merciful."
She shrugged, kissed him on the cheek, and climbed up in the riggings. She was the only one to do that as fast as she did.
She looked out over the waters.
"Yeah, it does." She called back.
She stayed up in the riggings and started wrapping up sails.
The storm hit just as she finished wrapping the last sail, but she couldn't climb down. It had started strong.
She glared down at him. "It's too dangerous to climb!" She shouted over the wind.
"Get below decks!" She shouted, tying herself to the mast.
"Lir! Below decks!" She shouted, worried.
"Please, Lir!!" She was getting close to tears.
"You're being idiotic! Now you're stuck up here, too." She was glad that the rain was hiding her tears.
She saw a wave coming and gripped onto him.
((g2g, be back later.))
((g2g, be back later.))
((Up in the riggings. Laya's tied to the mast and is gripping onto Lir.))
The wave came over them and Laya held her breath.
The wave came over them and Laya held her breath.
((Yeah))
The wave passed and she looked down, seeing the crew bailing. She sighed and held onto Lir tighter.
The wave passed and she looked down, seeing the crew bailing. She sighed and held onto Lir tighter.
"The ship could go down..." She muttered, still watching the scene below.
The crew was bailing as fast as they could, but she could see it was futile. They had no order, no one was directing them. She let go of Lir and untied the rope. "I'm going down."
