Cleo slowly opened the wooden door to the choir room. Her mind had been racing all day to come here. When she entered the room, she found it empty. Perfect. Cleo stood in the middle of the large room and began to sing Eyes Open.
(( This amazing room has just been abandoned it seems. *-* Choir is life. ))Adrian walked into the choir room, a binder full of sheet music under his arm. He set a particular piece of music on the choir directors desk, as she had requested to take a look at it a day before. With that, he walked onto the risers and took his seat in the Tenor 1&2 section, that being his voice part.
((IS someone rp'ing with you?))
Poppy walked in the choir room and sat, observing the guy. He had a beautiful voice.
Adrian had stopped singing the music he had in his lap, putting it back in the binder. He hadn't noticed the girl who had walked in until he was finished. He looked over momentarily at the girl, sitting a row down from him to the far left. His eyes then flickered back onto the sight-reading music so it wouldn't seem like he was staring.
"Why did you stop? Are you done?" Poppy asked, she loved his voice
Adrian looked over at the girl once again, clearing his throat as he parted his lips to speak. "Oh, yeah. I was just going over some sight reading stuff as a little warm-up." He says with a soft british accent, smiling a crooked smile. He walked over to where she sat, sitting down next to her. "I'm Adrian." He says in greeting.
"I'm Poppy, nice to meet you Adrian" Pop smiled. "So, are you in choir?" She asked
"And you as well, Poppy." Adrian said, and returned a smile of his own, looking forward for a moment, then turning back to her. "Yep. This will be my seventh year of choral singing, actually." He admits, chuckling. "And you?"
"Nope, not a singing bone in this body. But I do really love music, in pretty much every form." She chuckled a little bit "But that is awesome that you've been singing for seven years. It definitely has paid off"
Adrian smiled his signature crooked smile, looking down at his binder, then back up at Poppy. "It's good that you feel that way. You know what they say; Words make you think. Music makes you feel. But singing...Singing makes you feel a thought." he said with a smile.
"What do you mean?" She asked, wanting to understand it better. She had a sort of interest in what he was saying.
"It's nothing, I guess. Just a little quote-- my mom's favorite actually." Adrian said. He decided to quickly change the topic."So, I'd love to hear more about you." he said, genuinely intrigued.
"Umm, let me see. My name is Poppy and I like to volunteer at the homeless shelter on weekends and the soup kitchen on weekdays. Umm, my favorite color is yellow. But not like dark yellow, a pastel light yellow. You?" She rambled on, not used to talking about herself
((I just realized I made Dan her older brother, when I went to look at her info... I shall change that))

Adrian listened intently, the corners of his mouth curving upwards into a smile."Well.. I'm Adrian, I like to compose my own music and give piano lessons to children who couldn't otherwise afford piano lessons from an actual teacher. I love Pokemon and the internet and Tumblr and Youtubers and-" He noticed that he was the one rambling now. "And my favorite color is the entire color spectrum. I didn't want to pick a favorite and leave the others out, ya know." he said jokingly.
"Cute" She chuckled "That's really cool, that you teach the kids piano" She twirled her hair a little bit
