Ilana While i know which man this story was centered around, i have to ask - who would you have chosen if you were Bethany? Ash or Jace?

see, you get the sensitive tone from Jace, yet in Rush and in Fever, we see a caring boyish side to Ash that really makes you take pause. and he's lighter than Jace - so that's always a bit safer when you think about it right?

Victoria This is food for thought........ I liked Gabe so much in the first book, and still do, but had a big issue with what he did to Maia (when they were in Paris). Even though he made it up to her, it still shouldn't have happened. So, Gabe isn't my pick in any universe.

I liked Jace very much. I thought he took good care of Bethany and treated her well. Of the two, Jace and Ash, at this point, I would have stayed with Jace.

More than anything else, though, I am really wanting to know what exactly is the deal between Jace and Ash??? I would love for MB to explore more of their odd little relationship and explain some background, i.e. how did they get started and why did it continue for so many years? How close are they really? Yes, I know it's fiction, but I'm still fascinated by two seemingly straight men who prefer only threesomes with each other, and really didn't have sex apart for a VERY long time (or so it has seemed from the books so far, they didn't until Bethany came along).

Gracie ohh man that is a good one...for sure it would be Jace I like him being bossy, he takes charge yet so gentle and caring. Also like that he is jealous which is a good thing cause he wont share anymore with Ash cause on the reals I didn't like the fact he had threesome with Ash.

it's interesting when you get a relationship like Ash and Jace in a story. i feel like there was a book that i read a while back called 'Table for Two' where there were guy friends that were BEST friends and they shared all their women completely. even more than just one night stands - meaning that any woman that they were with knew that they it was a pair offer. i like the dynamic, but i agree that it would be nice to see how they discovered their shared interest and how it became what it did...

Driftwood Very curious as to what kind of woman is going to make Ash fall in love. Maya Banks doesn't disappoint. I read through Fever in less than a full day.

Marieanne Sam I'm looking forward to Ash story; Fever is definitely JACE -- it is his story! I love it more than Rush though.

Shellie I would have to pick Gabe. I felt like Jace's personality did a 180 from the first book to the second one. I also didn't enjoy the 2nd book as much as the first one. I had a hard time with the Paris thing too but I was was able to get past it.

I guess I just never really connected with Jace like I did with Gabe. I'm thinking (hoping) I'll make that connection with Ash too.

Norma Neither Gabe or Jace grabbed me, I'm holding out for Ash.

Courtney I am team Gabe... Yeah, Paris was bad, I mean really bad... But I was able to work past it and move on... I can not deal with the brooding or Jace's insecurity... I refuse to walk around on pins and needles trying to figure out how you feel. Also, I felt Gabe and Mia's story was a little more "realistic" than a playboy millionaire falling for a homeless girl and moving her in... I also thought Jace was a hypocrite, because he is into bondage and is dating someone younger than his sister but he wanted to kill Gabe...

I am hopeful for Ash's story as well.

Angela Carmona I'm holding out for Ash too!

Danielle I'm waiting on Ash.I like that he seems to be laid back but underneath that i think he will simmer. He may not be as chill as we think he is.I can't wait to read Burn

Moarbooxpls I think what I liked about Jace was that he had more of a crude, working class vibe, which apparently does something for me, maybe because I'm working class and I associate it with masculinity. Who knows.

The insane imbalance of power between Jace and Bethany really bothered me. At least Mia had an education and a brother as wealthy and powerful as Gabe. Bethany has nothing. Hopefully that will change a bit when she gets her education. I'm not very subby so I might just not get it.

SInce we saw such a hugely different side to Jace in the second book in comparison to the first, I cannot predict which of the two I like better. I am curious to see how he will be.

Lashuri Chan I'm glad Bethany wasn't paired with Ash. I can't see them working out.

Madel i think Jace is the right man for Bethany.. i can't picture how Ash is going to deal on Bethany's..
