I am in the midst of YALSA's reading challenge (to read 25 books from their award winning lists that came out in January before ALA conference in June). That being said I am reading Dramaby Raina Telgemeier.
Eleanor & Park, about which I have heard great things, but unfortunately I have been too busy to get past the second page. I'm excited about it, though.

I loved it!! I hope "someone" will bring Rainbow Rowell to SLC for a book signing. She has another book coming out in the fall, too.

Just started The City of Bones. Hoping to read through at least the first couple (or maybe more) before the movie opens this summer. Only a few chapter in so far but I'm really liking it.
I have to say that Eleanor & Park has one of the best hand holding descriptions I have ever read. So electric. I LOVED that book!

Yes- I loved it, too. It was nice to read such a realistic portrayal of falling in love for the first time. Usually teen romances are a bit, well, romanticized. It was nice to read one where all the stupidity and insecurities were on the surface, just like they really are when you are 15.

I just finished reading "Life After Theft" by Aprilynne Pike and have begun "Wrapped" by Jennifer Bradbury. I also recently finished the audio version of "Cinder" by Marissa Meyer. We're discussing that book and its sequel "Scarlet" at Holladay Library's Book Club for Teens on May 21st.
I am reading Skinny by Donna D. Cooner. And I am surprised by how much I like it. It is about a girl named Ever who has gastric-bypass surgery and struggles because a "fairy" named "Skinny" sits on her shoulder and tells her everything everyone is "thinking" about her. So it isn't just about the weight issues an obese teen has but also about perceptions and inner confidence. Plus it is a Teens' Top Ten nominee.
I finished reading Etiquette & Espionage. A fun, steampunk book about a girl who gets sent to a finishing school by her mother that turns out to be a training school for spies. Great characters, funny plot, and the steam technology is entertaining, especially her mechanimal. I'd give it 5 stars.
Since my last post, it seems like all I have read is YA literature. My favorite was For Darkness Shows the Stars by Peterfreund. I just started Ruby Red by Gier.
Beth wrote: "I am reading Radiance. it is by Alison Noel. It is really good so far."Is this your first book to read by Alison Noel? I have been wondering if I would like her works.

I just started "Strangelets" by Michelle Gagnon. Very interesting so far.
