I don't know if that's what the genre is actually called, but that's what my whole family calls it. xD
Anyone else like them? I like some of them. =D

i know some people who ONLY listen to oldies, and i think thats weird. then again, having ancient pop songs on ur ipod is weird too. (my pop obsessed best freind.)

I don't think it's weird... it's just another type of music..

no, i just think that for a bunch of teenagers who have all these genres to choose from, they could have picked something else.

but i'm actually ok w/oldies.

I listen to it everyday. That's what both my parents listen to. =P

my mom listens to... what DOES she listen to? idk, but my dad likes vintage alternative. and rock.

Oldies is . . idk. There, and I'll accept it. But then again . . I'm a very picky person.

I agree - I'm guessing there are a lot of definitions. The way I would define "Oldies" would be music that was popular/favored a long time ago . .
Though, I'm not sure what era would be correct to define as old.

well i like Janis Joplin & Blind Melon and those two are firly hippie type people so i think they were oldies. definately janis not so sure about Blind Melon
