What is your favorite Harry Potter book? I think my favorite is The Prisoner of Azkaban, just because I love Sirius Black.

ЅᎯℬℰ (doyouhearthepeoplesing) | 242 comments For a while it was the goblet of fire, but I have to go with the deathly hallows, because that was the only one where I hadn't seen the movie first.

Celia (menel-char-pippin-ronald-sasha) The Goblet of Fire.... I think it's just really fun to read and it's very entertaining.

I did love the Goblet of Fire too, and I liked how it started to set up the tone for the last three books as well :)

Rachel (rjscottie) Well its a tie between PoA DH and GoF

Yeah... the author did a really great job with that.... I got really upset at the end of it though....

Me too. I almost cried at the ending, and I don't cry too often when it comes to books.

For some reason, I'm not as in love with Chamber of Secrets as a lot of other people. I think it might even be one of my least favorite in the series, not to say it isn't good. All the books are good.

message 13: by Sam (new) - rated it 5 stars

Sam | 3 comments I loved the Half-Blood Prince because it truly was the climax of the series. We learned about horcruxes, Voldemort's life, and Harry went through what is, in my opinion, the hardest death he had to go through in the series. Some people will say that the prophecy in the Order of the Pheonix would be the climax, but I believe that the Half-Blood Prince truly set the stage for the final book.

i don't really know why i love the chamber of secrets, but that book just kind of stood out for me. How do you feel about the prisoner of azkaban?

I love the Prisoner of Azkaban! That is one of my favorites in the series for sure.

Beatriz Abellás Cobas | 6 comments Half blood prince because discover voldenort's past is very interesting

Nikki | 312 comments I did like learning about Voldemort and how he couldn't love because he was conceived under a love potion

Pallavi (dreamcatcher03) It's a tie between Half blood prince and The Deathly Hallows. I keep re-reading these two a lot.

Michela | 2 comments I love the Deathly Hallows because it was so intense reading it and I love when a book makes me fangirl through every page!!! It's a sign that the book is epic!

Hitanshi Kamdar | 42 comments Order of the Phoenix

Merida (MeridaWaleczna) | 13 comments The Prisoner of Azkaban! Always was my favorite and will be favorite forever. I love the history of Sirius.

Sarah Corbett I can't decide! I probably have to say 2,3 and 7

Sridhar (Suweida) MY favorite book of the series is "The Goblet of Fire". Probably because, it was like the 'coming of age' in the series.

Daisy I honestly believe it's impossible to choose a SINGLE Harry Potter book! I cherish them all too much :)

Lauren Kirk-Cohen (laurenkc) | 8 comments I love all of them, but Deathly Hallows is my favourite! It would have been The Order of the Phoenix, but I was too traumatized by Sirius dying.

Nikki | 312 comments HP7 was my favorite and least favorite.

Nikki | 312 comments Touching.

Stormy :) (Stormy0218) | 843 comments Prisoner of Azkaban!! I really love Professor Lupin and Sirius! I think their characters are awesome!! I also love Buckbeak <3 and the idea of the time turner!

Georgia Elliott-vautin | 5 comments Goblet of Fire hands down. It is the most detailed and gives the first insight into the magical world outside of Hogwarts. Voldemorts return was expertly written too. The movie could have been sooooo much better.

Nikki | 312 comments Interesting

Stormy :) (Stormy0218) | 843 comments The GOF movie was one if the weakest movies. They tried to make it dark but just made it very silly. Also a lot of things were left out, like Twinkie and the kitchen elves. I can understand why they cut that stuff out, but it made a kind of a problem concerning the last book since at the time it hadn't been published

I agree. GoF book was great, movie not so much. Actually, I don't really like the GoF, OoTP, and HBP movies that much.

Stormy :) (Stormy0218) | 843 comments I really liked the OotP movie. I love Luna and Umbridge and really thought considering its an 800 something page book they did a good job. HBP was pretty much just teen romance drama. Felt like I was watching Glee

Nikki | 312 comments :0 how dare you diss the sixth. But it wasn't as good as the book but still8O

Stormy :) (Stormy0218) | 843 comments Haha, yeah my best friend loves the 6th and she always gets mad at me for throwing it under the bus :) idk, half blood prince was one of my favorites and I just think they cut some stuff out that was pretty important

Nikki | 312 comments Yes. Yes the did. But no throwing under ze bus

Stormy :) (Stormy0218) | 843 comments Yes stormy doesn't like getting thrown under buses lo

Nikki | 312 comments No one does

I agree. They focused way too much on the teen romance part of it. I did like the way Luna and Umbridge were portrayed in the OoTP movie too.

Sarah Butler | 1 comments Deathly Hallows. mostly for how clever and detailed it is, so many twists and turns that I didn't see coming and kept me gripped!

Kasia (kasiareads) | 6 comments Deathly Hallows was my favourite simply because I loved the idea of the hallows, and it simply was the most entertaining book for me. :)
