Ignoring with ease the sight which could be thought to burst whatever innocents these two alien kinswomen had left, Starfire surveyed the sky, breathing deeply of its pure nitrogen-oxygen-water-vapor-argon-carbon-dioxide synthesis. Those chemicals smelled so sweet at this place in the atmosphere, Starfire's eyes pinched in a smile.
The wind and deafening turbines batted her hair, sending it like a flag behind her, the mast.
"To Law in L.A," she giggled behind her hand, "Law, L.A. I wonder what made him chose a place which resembles his name."
"Systems check," she joked, her distinctive energy contrail making that sail of hair into a crackling energy machine of continuous power. Her hair became fire and she shot up into the air, careful not to break the sound barrier.

Blood Bone and Muscle wrote: "((That's how it works in the comics. Maybe not in the TV show.
So to Law's?))"

Hired to brake into Shield's most secure stronghold (which happened to hang suspended hundreds of feet off the Earth) couldn't have been trickier. No doubt it counted high on the impossible tasks list which Rémy Lebeau had vanquished out of sheer will.
Hanging off the lip of the vehicle with one arm, Gambit slowly but surely hoisted the rest of his body up and rolled to a safe haven on this airbase field. That so called 'sanctuary' happened to be really cliché. Behind a container of fuel, he panted, listening intently for motion.
Strapped to his boots, a device for flight died with a whine as he shut off their petroleum feed which wired up to his belt, well hidden under a certain trench coat. The other mechanism on his boots kept him practically to the weight of a pidgin, lest he ever set off the pressure plates they'd believe he was nothing but a bird nesting.
Not a supreme enemy, unless that bird happened to be Mystique (but that's another story).
Glancing at his cards and possibilities, Gambit took a serene moment to enjoy how pretty the sky looked from this view.
Sending off the explosives would definitely great too much attention. Instead he shrugged off his coat buttoned up a shield uniform, hiding his things away behind the crate with pulse censors.
Gambit brushed his hair back with racking fingers, trying in vain to make it look professional and began the journey on The Avengers Hangar.
Welcome to Shield y'ol' rat, he thought.
"Less see..." He mused, adjusting his hat over his hair.
