Some of you may notice that some posts are disappearing. That's because we're painstakingly going through and deleting the posts that haven't been active in a month or more, the posts with no comments or views, posts that are just clutter and don't belong, or any posts that are just asking for us all to visit your site without actually offering a service or anything of the sort. While I believe very strongly that connecting does involve requesting and inviting other members in the page, posting multiple times to come view your page and come read your blog, and similar posts are borderline spam. If you want to promote your site, that's fine, but there's a difference between saying, "Hey, I love helping others out, come read my blog and if you like what you see, sign up to be a guest blogger" and "Hey come read my blog" or reposting the same thing with different words. Keep in mind, this is supposed to be a place to help each other, not just free promo for you and your site or your books. It's not everybody, but the few that are doing this are spoiling the group and cluttering it up.

Moving forward, we ask that if you have an idea for a new thread or topic, check first to see if there are ANY other topics or threads that might fit what you have in mind before posting, and no more new threads filed under "General." There are several folders to keep things organized, please utilize them. Any new threads not in the right folder will be deleted without warning. That's more work for us, and then more work for you if you want to repost in the right place. Don't make extra work for us and for yourself. Just post it where it fits, and if you're not sure, there's a new thread under From the Admins that's just for where you can ask us questions. We'll be happy to clear things up for you.

As much as it pains me to do this, I must. Anyone who continuously abuses the group, posts negative comments, uses the group for free promo without offering anything in return, or repetitively posts new threads in the wrong folders will be removed and blocked from the group. I don't do it to be mean, but for the sake of our sanity and the success of the group, some rules have to be laid down.

Thanks so much
