Jake walked up to the lake with his swimsuit on. He looked around for Selena before seeing her at the edge and yelled "Selena"

Selena had her tail already formed when she looked over at him "hey jake! The waters nice and warm" she said with a grin, diving under

Jake laughed before diving in with her.

Selena went as far under as she could, the scales on her tail glistening

Jake went under and cooled off. Then he saw just how far Selena was underwater and was amazed.

Selena swam upside down, looking up at jake and grinning. When mermaids swam underwater, they communicate through their minds. Selena tried as hard as she could to use the same method wih jake, she didnt know if it would work or not You've got nice abs she sent to him with a grin

Jake was looking at Selena when he saw her grin. Then he heard the voice in his head. He could tell that it was Selena's. Just as he heard it he smiled and blushed.

Selena giggled in the water and swam up to jake, kissing his cheek and then continuing on through the water, going down the lake some

Jake swam up to the surface to get some air before swimming down with Selena.

Selena twirled circles in the water, her bright hair following her in a hectic way

It took Jake all his strength but caught up to Selena and grab her hands and pulled her up to the surface. He put his and around her and kissed her and gently leaned his head on her smiling.

(Not exactly what I meant but it works c: I'm warning you I'm obsessed with dramatic conflicts ^-^)

Selena smiled against his lips and kissed him back, then looked at him and giggled "that was a bit more forward than usual" she said, her hand going down his arm

(Well we will have to see what we can do I had a idea for my charectar.)

Jake smiled "Sorry I just can't help it with you."

Selena grinned and placed a finger under his chin, lifting his face so it was level with hers "don't apologize," she said, bringing her lips to his and kissing him

(Ok well we would need lesha's help in it as eve. But I was thing when Jake is a wolf he is attracted to Eve because she is a wolf like him.)

Jake smiled "You are perfect" he said slowly

Selena wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed his neck once "yeah I am, aren't I?" She teased

Jake laughed and said " Yes, yes you are,"

"Wanna know something?" Selena said, looking into the water

"What?" He asked

"Swimming in this lake, it's nothing compared to the ocean. The ocean is just so...open. It's deep and there's everywhere to explore. Water like this barely compares" she said, looking up at him

"It sounds amazing, since I grew up so far inland I never got to go to the ocean." He said looking down at her trying to stag above water.

"I'll take you with me sometime" she said, her hands playing around his chest

" That would be amazing, I would love it. Just you and me." He said and kissed her just under her cheek.

Selena nodded and kissed the side of his lips, "when can we go?" She asked with a giggled

"Anytime you want, we would have to sneak off though." He looked into her eyes

Selena pursed her pink lips and furrowed her brows "good point. Wren would flip if she found out I left campus. She's my big sis, so she's really protective..." She decided not to mention that wren had told her to break up with jake already. "Maybe wait for a weekend? Let wren know?"

"Ok, what ever you want to do. I can tell you love your sister." He said smiling

Selena shrugged "she's my bestfriend, always been there for me. She can be warped sometimes but I love her dearly"

"I understand what you mean I have a younger sister. She is only fourteen, but I love her of course." he said looking down at the grass as the wind picked up.

Selena smiled a bit "oh yeah? What's her name?"

Jake waited a second before saying "Sarah" he looked at Selena smiling.

"What's she like?"

Jake thought a minute before saying "She's funny, smart, a little bossy, but really sweet."

Selena grinned "she sounds like a great girl, how old is she?"

"Fourteen" Jake said

She nodded a bit "I want to meet her someday, when you find them"

"It's funny you remind me of her. But there are two differences." Jake said slowly

"Yeah? And what're those?" She asked, looking over at him

Seke sat a few yards from them. She was talking to Nawat, who sat on her outstretched wing.

"Well for one you are so much more beautiful. Then second I would never do this with her." He said then leaned over and kissed Selena

Selena smiled softly and kissed him back lightly, her lips just grazing his

"I'm so mad" Jake said softly

Seke giggled as Nawat pecked her nose. "Come on." she said. She suddenly took off, flying over the lake. Nawat quickly followed, cawing, What was that for?

Selena tilted her head out of curiosity "huh? Why?" She asked

"Because we can't stay here forever." He said with a frown but then laughed

Selena giggled "we can stay here for as long as we want, who's gonna stop us? We're practically an invincible team, you can go all wolf on everyone and I'll blow bubbles at them" she said with a silly smile on her face

Jake smiled "Well I wouldn't let anyone hurt you. But yes If I could I would stay here forever. It's perfect you and me"

Selena nodded, her eyelids starting to droop "lets stay here all night" she said, leaning her tired head against his chest and smiling slightly, her eyes closed

"That would be fine with me." Jake could already see it almost dark.
