The Heart of a Homemaker discussion

Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers is one of my favorite books. It's been a few years since I've read it but it is the story of Hosea in the setting of 1850's gold country.
Micheal Hosea meets Angel who is living in a brothel when he is told by God that she is the one meant for him. There are many trials and trust issues throughout the story.
I really enjoyed it and think many who like romance stories would like it also.

The Shack is another one of my all time favorites. I love to story of God reaching down and healing a man who is suffering so deeply! I love the pictures described in the book of all the ways that Jesus shows his love for us. It's just an overall great story of God's love!
