Hey Zee, what did you end up thinking of this book?

P. (shimizusan) | 131 comments It was good. I enjoyed it and highly recommend it. The prose of Angelou also has that lyrical quality to it that we know from her poetry. But couldn't help thinking it could have been better.

Have you read it yet?

P. (shimizusan) | 131 comments I'm back, and even though I'm 11 books off my target, this is still very much a 'maybe' thread! Here's my latest reads:

Stone Cold 2/5 stars
The Wasp Factory 2/5 stars
Going Solo 4/5 stars
The Histories 3/5 stars

I have and I enjoyed it. When I read it, someone commented that the title actually came from a poem by
Paul Laurence Dunbar, so I looked up some of his work and enjoyed some of his poems. It might be worth looking into if you have not read anything by him.
