Savannah W ~ (savannah_white) Well....personally, the movies made me completely dislike Edward. So, im team Jacob. But, the books had good writing style to it. However, I grew so sick of Bella's constant depressed, obsessive self. Once it reached the forth book and Jacob imprinted on Bella's kid...I began my hatred for it. Then, oh buddy, THEN Stephen gets us excited for this huge war that NEVER happens. You don't even know how pissed I was about that. Overall though, the books were well written and I did enjoy them.

If you ever read Midnight Sun you would understand what love is, and why Edward acted the way he did. This is what makes this a great love story. One of my friends posted this in a thread about why you love Edward. I think it clearly explains what Edward and Bella love is all about.
"I LOVE Edward for many reasons -- the most important one being that he's extremely careful about not hurting Bella. He struggles with his bloodlust, attempting to control it so that he doesn't kill this girl he loves. I read an article on the Internet about this. The writer (I wish I had gotten his name) said that this was a metaphor representing a man in the real world controlling his darker urges so as not to hurt the woman he loves. I totally agree!

I don't mind the so-called 'stalking' Edward does by sneaking into Bella's bedroom at night. In fact, I think it's very romantic! He obviously meant her no harm. When you're that deeply in love, you want to be with your beloved ALL the time! He felt comforted by simply watching her sleep. Besides, he wanted to protect her from the werewolves, or from the Volturi (although they're not in the story yet, at that point).

Edward is TOTALLY devoted to Bella!! How many of us females, I wonder, have ever fantasized about having a boyfriend who was a virgin, fell in love with us, and SWORE that he would nave no other? This is VERY rare in real life, but I think it's a very sweet fantasy...

Edward is GORGEOUS, SMART, SEXY, LOVING, LOYAL, and just EVERYTHING a girl could ever want!!!! He's a vampire, but he tries to make the best of it. And, most important of all, he's very ETHICAL. He's a good guy!!

I LOVE EDWARD CULLEN!!!!!!!! He's my ideal guy!!!!!"

TeddyBear {HarpyAshe} **Well You Built Up A World Of Magic, Cause Your Real Life Is Tragic** (harpyashe) My personal opinion about this book is that she wrote it very well. I love the way that she writes her stories because they draw you in and make you want to keep reading. So, about the actual storyline. The storyline was awesome, they way that she planned everything out. Basic, dramatic romance book that makes you very emotional about it. Sure some part I did not like, but mostly I did. The biggest problem I had about in this book and why I never want to read it again on my own will was the characters. Edward....he was just....he was a sparkly freakin vampire and whenever I saw him sparkle, all I could think of was" Sparkle, sparkle Edward....Sparkle sparkle!" That actually distracted me a bit, but I couldnt help my thought lol He was also just really....kind of a jerk at some points. Like when he left Bella. Sure there was a semi-good reason for it, but it still made me want to jump into the book and start bitch slapping him. Speaking of bitch slapping, this is why I hate Bella: shes stupid, annoying, can never get her thoughts straight, doesnt know what she wants, plays Jacob like a violin, takes advantage of Jacob, and anything else that I cannot think of right now since it's been forever since I've read the book. There are two kinds of dumb-bubble headed people in book: the funny ones that, even though they are dumb, you love them anyways and the ones that you just want to bitch slap to next week....Bella was the type that I wanted to bitch slap into next week. Just...such a dumb girl in my opinion that it was sickening....how dumb she was at some points. Now I dont want to get too into why i hated or likes each character, but the ones that I had no problem with were: Jacob, Alice, Jasper and Emmett. I just loved them for reason I have no real idea why. I think I loved Jacob because he was a werewolf (I like werewolves more than vampires....I think the sparkle of Edward ruined them for me -.-). Alice was just really cool and helped Bella a lot. She was very thoughtful. Emmett was really funny and Jasper was just quiet and cute, which I love those kind of characters. So my opinion all in all, the book was written well, it draws you in. The storyline was dramatic and pretty sweet. The characters....ruining the whole thing for me...Hope I didnt really offend anyone saying anything that i did. That just what i thought.
