Chris ran into the woods of the Shadowfield Pack territory, chasing after Rush.

Chris would have scowled if it had been possible. He ran up to her, leaning down to nip her lightly. He ran ahead, looking behind him with his tongue hanging out.

You complain a lot he sent her. Let's go back to the healers house, so I can put on clothes.

Elise padded through the woods like a ghost, her fur matched the pure white blonde of her hair and she was perhaps the lightest wolf in colour in the region. Her icy eyes appraised the forestry around her as she tried to detect the thrumming heartbeat of a deer or a rabbit in the underbrush. Elise pushed through the leaves, feeling the dew catch on her white fur as she passed. A crackle of branched nearby caught her attention and she crouched low to the earth, sweeping her head about to look for the perpetrator. Elise found him quickly, a great male elk was stripping bark from a nearby tree his huge antlers turned skyward. She watched him for a moment or two before moving silently through the underbrush. This was going to be a challenge, perhaps an impossible one and she might get hurt. But then she felt like she had a lot to prove in this pack, what with her and her mother being inducted in on the pre tense of protection.

Fenris ran through the woods blindly, she was just trying to find his mate. When he found that Paxton he was going to rip him limp from limb. Then sow him back together so he could do it again! And that was only the beginning of what he had planned for him!

Rule followed behind Finn, sniffing the cool air for his sister. He couldn't believe his best friend had taken her

Finn felt Rule beside him, he glanced over, they couldn't speak through a link because him and Envy hadn't mated yet. But he nodded for him to lead, Rule knew these woods and Paxton better. If anyone could find them it would be Rule.

Rule went right and followed a trail the he and Pax often went on runs on.

Finn followed without hesitation, he needed to get to Envy fast.

Renee had phased and now was a blur in the woods. She had saw Fenris and Rule ahead but this wasn't the time to talk. Even now, she could feel herself getting dangerous, more wild, more like on a hunt. She had Envy's scent in vision and was following it. Little did she know, it would end soon. Renee Forest was one of the fastest in town, so when she blurred past Rule and Fenris, they may have not recognized her.

((Umm, how about they have to go back to the house when its too dark for them to track and Rule remembers how Pax had been excited about some cellar he found in the woods the week before))

Rule ran around the trees, desperately trying to find any hint of Pax or Envy. But so far, he was only getting old scents of his sister and friend. where could they be? he asked himself.

((Will Renee play a part in getting Envy?))

((Alright, cause I feel as if Renee is just there. If she's Beta, shouldn't she be involved in things like this? If not, I can always just have her go back to Silvermoon Pack house and sleep...))

Finn whined, it was getting dark and there was no sign of either of them. No one had heard anything since Cora did. Corie... he couldn't believe he had done that to her, none of this was her fault. He was just so angry he needed someone to blame...

Rule started running back towards the house he could find either of them and the darkness of night wasn't helping. He figured they would have better luck in the morning. it was going to be a long night

Finn followed Rule back to the shadowfield pack house, he needed to check on Corie anyways. No need to have his mate and his sister out of commission. He just prayed that Paxton loved Envy enough not to hurt her...

Renee Forest heard everything. What was worst is that she decided to stay here and watch. Dark thoughts filled her mind, I'm dead to them. What's the sick use? She growled as she tread along the edge of the Shadowfield forest. Renee was actually hungry. A flicker of movement caught her eye. A deer. Swiftly, and silently, Renee tracked it instead, her animal Rouge instincts taking over. All she could see what the deer's pulse. If a wolf could smile, Renee did, and a cruel one nonetheless too. This wasn't like she normally hunted. She never played around with her prey.

((Cora, Finn, Envy, and Rule are at the Shadowfield pack house. Envy and Cora are unconscious at the moment, and I am waiting for Kay to respond))

Renee's eyes had a vicious gleam as she scratched a tree far from where she would attack. The deer took off sprinting with a grace. Unfortunately for the deer? Renee was way faster. Twice, she had forced the deer to change directions, just to give herself a challenge. She felt like a kid again, not necessarily the best thing to feel like, considering she was a Rouge back then. Finally, Renee caught and killed her prey.

((Perhaps Craven can meet up with her?))

((Haha yes, but he has a broken nose from Rule for calling Cora a pack slut when he found them together on the walking trails XD))

((Alright, something tells me though, he better be careful. Renee is tripping right over the line of being Rouge))

Craven caught sight of Renee and ran over to her, "Renee? What are you doing on shadow land?" he walked up to her carefully.

Renee's eyes had turned amber, the color they had been when she was turning into a Silvermoon Beta, but now it was the other way around. "Apparently being useless," she laughed sourly, crossing her arms as she leaned against a tree. Her hair had fallen around her face, hiding her amber-Rougish eyes.

"What do you mean?" Craven changed back, pulling the basketball short he had in his mouth. His nose was black and blue, as were both of his eyes. Rule had really done a number on his face.

Renee sighed and lifted her head from staring at the ground, to looking at Craven's battered face. "That's got to hurt," she smirked, not really in sane mind. She had found some clothes hidden near here, no doubt the other Beta here, Raven. Sadly it was all blue. Blue jeans and a blue shirt. So not Renee's style but clothes are clothes.
"And you heard me. Figure it out," she laughed again, bitterly.

"You seem...different, Renee. And yes it did hurt, just an FYI never call Cora a pack slut in front of her mate." Craven's tone was full of disgust.

"I would have done the same to you, perhaps even more Craven." Renee snickered, "And what do you mean different?" She batted her eyelashes at him, mockingly.

Renee Forest's attention went to any movement around her, any flutter of a wing, any sound that could be heard within miles.

"I forget you and Cora are soul-sisters. Honestly, I have no clue what came over me. I was sent to find her, and I found him nearly marking her. At first, I thought that he was taking advantage of her...but then he defended him. I didn't know that they were mates...." Craven winced as pain shot through his nose as a reminder.

Renee Forest chuckled, more at his nose then his words. She grew her claws, her red hair cascading over her shoulder as she reached across her body to make a mark deep into the rough bark she leaned upon. "It was rather... sudden," Renee finally replied, finding a nice easy word instead of the critics in her head.

"They haven't mated yet, he hasn't even marked her, from what I've heard anyways. How do you feel about her meeting her mate? It must have been quite a shock?" Craven asked, he truly wanted to know.

"At first," Renee replied nonchalantly, examining her claws like a girl would to her nails. They were deadly sharp. Just the more fatal. Her amber eyes turned to Craven, "I can already see Rule planning to get me out of my position as Beta. Then again, perhaps he's right. After all, all I do is cause problems," she scowled bitterly at quoting Envy's own words.

Lalalala Somebody once told me the world was macaroni.....I ain't the sharpest tool in the shed.....she was looking kinda dumb with a finger in her thumb and the shape of an L on her forehead. The song soared through Nathaniel's head as he walked through the forest. Hmm it was the 'other' packs forest, but since Envy and Fenris were together now....did the same matters still apply? He didn't think so. Which was why he was following that little feeling in his head, the feeling that ended up leading him right to where Renee and Craven were engaged in conversation. "Oh.....well.....I would say hate to interrupt....but I don't really hate to interrupt. So....yeah." He shrugged in a non-chalant sort of way as he looked over the two, curious as to what they were doing.

Renee smelled Nathaniel far away at first. "Look whose here." Something inside her, the Rouge told her to go now. To avoid being locked down again. Renee hid her eyes from Nathaniel as she approached but nodded with eyes downcast in greeting. Of course, it looked like a sign of respect for the older ones, and Renee was not one to do that to anyone really. If Nathaniel knew her well, which he did, he knew something was wrong.

(Haha, there's a coherent to that song, it goes: somebody once told me the world was macaroni so I took a bit out a tree, it tasted kinda funny so I threw it at a monkey, and the monkey started attacking mee! :) haha))

"Why would Rule want to do that? It would only hurt Cora..." Craven started before Nate interrupted, he turned his bruised face to him, "Oh, hey Nate, where have you been? Finn had been looking for you...well, earlier. He isn't now though..."

Renee bit her lip to hold in another sour laugh. Fenris is all content with Envy, he doesn't need anyone really. Just his family and mate. Renee Forest couldn't decide her feelings toward Fenris. He had ignored her multiple times as she came into town, like she was dead to him. Yet, in the past, he was like a father, a brother. She grown up to be loyal to him. To put it simply, she was torn.

Craven picked out on her thoughts and sighed Renee, you are not dead to Finn. He just has a lot on his mind. He was having to fight his parents, his new mate, her family, and angry members from both packs. It didn't help that his beta was fighting against him instead of with him. He needs you Renee, just like Cora needs you. Now he needs you more than ever, he almost lost his mate....

Nathaniel's eyes were watching Renee curiously. Something was wrong with her that much he could tell. Question was....did he press her for information about it now? Or did he give her some time to think about things. As for the question from Craven.... "Oh well....I was trying to get this one rogue girl to leave town, but then I got hint of Finn's displeasure....and then I left. And ran into another rogue on the borders of territory...so I got into a bit of a fight. Then there was this car....anyway...I'm here now." He shrugged waving it all off as if it all didn't really matter. Instead he kinda just waltzed over and draped his arm around Renee's shoulder's loosely. Of course that was nothing new, he was always a very hands on kind of person and with Renee? He was constantly messing with her hair or leaning into her...really he was always near her whenever they were around one another. It had confused people in the past into thinking they were mates. Ha.....no. They were just close. Like siblings. Like Best friends. "So what is the deal with this new presence in the pack link, Nee? Did our Alpha add in someone to the pack?"

Renee growled at Craven's words, partly because the Rouge side of her disagreed. Renee Forest couldn't bring herself to reply, still hiding her eyes from Nathaniel. Inside her, in that stone heart, was a girl. One who had everything taken from and turned into a beast. A girl who was lost. But the stone wall around her heart blocked even the most understanding concepts.
In answer to Nate's question, she nodded, hiding her eyes again, turning away. "Tobias, new Beta and a pain in the ass."

Nathaniel frowned and then decided to open up his pack link, that might help him be clued in on things. Feeling what was going on between Craven and Renee he frowned at Renee's spoken words. "New Beta? Woah. Wait. This is a rogue and the rogue is basically second in command? Some random rogue that no one knows much of anything about?" To say that Nate was upset was a bit of an understatement. He was raving. This was not fair. This was not right. This was a stranger brought into the pack and yet high enough up that this rogue could take on Finn and could order the rest of them about? A low growl escaped his throat as he stood there his wolf dangerously pacing along the surface. "This is not okay. Times like these are times I almost wish being in a pack was a democracy." He didn't mean those last words. Which was why the whole 'almost' came into play.

Craven chuckled, "Renee likes to forget to mention that without the new Beta she would be dead right now. Tobias seems like a good guy...I don't like him, not at all. But he saved Renee, and Cora likes him. She's usually a pretty good judge of character, well usually. She is friends with Renee after all," Craven couldn't help teasing Renee there at the end.
