Tamaris emerged from the bush on shaky legs. The wolf collapsed on the groun letting out a shaky breath then gurgled howl. Her blood was streched upon the ground. She couldn't feel anything. She felt cold all over and tried to lift her head. A prolonged painful howl escaped her muzzle. It was loud but it was a dying one also. The last thing she remembered was seeing the glistening water til the world turned black.
Linger was out on patrol in her human form when she heart a wolf's howl. It wasn't one from her pack so she curiously ran till she found the source.
Tamaris laid on the cold earth still. Her body felt cold and she was unconscious by now. Blood seeped onto the earth as her wounds laid unprotected by the cold or heat. Her heartbeat grew faint. Her body wouldn't heal at all. She was willing to accept the death that was coming for her even if she had fallen unconscious.
Tamaris was still unconscious, unaware of the possible threat. She was far to gone to react. She had lost too much blood. The bite at the gruff of her neck made it hard for her to breath. If a breath came out, it would be ragged.
What the hell had happened to this wolf? Linger wondered as she took a couple steps closer. She could smell the blood but couldn't tell where it was coming from, the wolf's coat was all matted with blood. Linger had gotten a little bit of her mother's healer power, but not much. She had taken after her father who had been a powerful delta male before he died. Leaned down beside the unconscious wolf, she lay her hand gently on it's abdomen and uses the small amount of healer power she had.

Raven, feeling his eyes on her, gazes back at him solidly before looking away when he drops his gaze. Thinking through the options of just where they could go for food, she nods in agreement after a moment when he suggests the lake. Surprisingly, that was in fact one of the places she had been thinking about; even if she hadn't been there in well over 2 months. It was not that she found the lake discomforting or even boring but she had been busy and often found it too hot during the summer months, thus leaving her to prefer the company of the dense tree canopy. Raven looked up watching the rapidly darkening sky not quite transitioning out of the winter months faze and falls into step besides Sebastian.
If felt weird if she was being completely truthful, usually as was deemed, she would have been farther back giving the proper respect to the alpha and betas. Of course Raven mused that she would have a chance of becoming lost for she hadn't been to the lake coming from this direction. Brushing that off Raven peered over at him before biting her lip in an almost habitual fashion. Whilst awkward was not the perfect way to describe herself she had always thought that Sebastian could easily pursue a higher ranking. From what she could depict from only a few minutes certainly portrayed a tactful and observant person.
((Sorry it's kind of awkward... :P))

A muffled whine of relief escaped her muzzle. The pain lessened under the stranger's palm. There wasn't any sign though of her gaining conscious. The wounds closed up a bit. It was able to stop the bleeding too. Tamaris's breathing improved also in the process. Her chest would rise and fall better not with as much falter or difficulty.
Linger sighed and backed away from the rouge wolf. Envy, her cousin and her alpha was going to skin her alive for saving a rouge.
Tamaris stirred a little. Her eyes slowly opened adjusting to the light. She moved her head feeling a little better. Her body shuddered with relief. Was it all a dream? A spark of joy hit until she saw the lake again. A whine of grief now came; the sparking died as quick as it came. She looked at her wounds seeing they were better. She rolled over and had her eyes lay on the new companion. Did she save me? She was still adjusting to her wounds so there wasn't much hostility at the moment. She just stayed there staring at the girl not sure what to make of the situation. She had no where to go. She was alone now. A rouge. If she wasn't a wolf right now, bile would rise in her throat from the memory of the slaughter.
"You have two minutes to explain to me why I shouldn't be calling my alpha." Linger told her, her ice blue eye hard and emotionless.
Tamaris sighed and her form shifted into a female. She covered her body though not feeling comfortable with her being stark naked infront of this individual."My name is Tamaris Monique Mariette. My pack....."Her mouth went dry and cut off."is the Nightthorn pack from California. My father was the Alpha and I was Beta."Her pack was a respected pack."There was a slaughter...."She balled her fists."All of my pack is dead now. I was lucky enough to escape alive."She said referring to her wounds."I ran barely and was able to get on a train cart til I landed whereever this is.....then i kept going til i got here. I didn't know what else to do. What I don't understand is why you didn't leave me to die."She continued confused.
Sebastian's eyes wandered throughout the territory, selfishly just taking in the distinguished sensation of being out in rural surroundings, when he should be picking up redolences to get the hunt over with. He was very much aware of Raven though he tried not to let his mind wander to her too often, as this would only prompt him to feel obligated to start some sort of conversation betwixt the two of them, and he was not a good conversation starter, nor was he very much interested in them. The faintest breeze caressed his skin, his only means of any sort of physical contact, though it was not necessarily physical at all. There was no sense in letting silence reign; Sebastian thought the cessation was peaceful albeit he figured Raven thought it to be somewhat unnerving. What should he ask of her? How she is doing would be a great starter, but what after that? Should he ask her about her rank, her thoughts on it… dare he immerse himself in gossip about her feelings over certain pack members? No. No male with a decent phallus coalesced with a routine common to females. Just as his lips parted, the scent hit him; deer were nearby, but he was more interested in the faint smell of a stranger and that of someone else whom he knew. Linger.
"Can you smell that?" His head jerked in Raven's direction, some unreadable gleam in his cerulean ocular, though it was nowhere near fear. Perhaps a sort of contained excitement for something interesting. Though before he waited for her answer, he began to push his way through thicker foliage, finding a shortcut route through the haphazard vicinity to reach the location of the two others.
Tamaris felt still uncomfortable with her nakedness. She closed her eyes waiting for the other to attack her. She was too tired to fight. Her family was gone. Her first love and bestfriend was dead. She had no one. What is the point in living without having someone to lean on. She knew she could take care of herself but she didn't want to. She missed her home. She never really had a time to grieve. Her main goal was to get away first at least.
Linger felt other's coming closer and turned to face them. "There's nothing for you to see here, turn around and go back." She warned them, shifting in front of the rouge wolf. She felt sympathy for the rouge. Linger's own father had been slaughtered in cold blood years ago
Tamaris tensed up. The dried blood on her skin was very visible now. She opened her eyes and look down at the appearance before her. Blood never bothered her but the fact that it was her parents', brothers', or boyfriend's made her heel over. She felt bile rise in her throat. She wasn;t bothering to pay attention to the other two.
Sebastian was deeply conflicted, though he knew he better listen to the respected hunter, as she had some sort of standing within the pack ranks; after all, she helped feed the pack. Though he could not help but shift his gaze, just to see who or what it was, only to see a face and bare skin; no detail was invested into the amount of bare skin being shown; he saw her naked shoulders and that was enough for him to inhale a sharp intake of breath and divert his attention elsewhere. "A rogue," he thought to himself, silently pleased to have at least figured out what had intruded."Linger," he whispered; it was not to say her name in warning, but only to express that what she was dealign with here was a serious matter. He did not quite know of her temperament, but he did not doubt that she would snap fast. If that so happened, Sebastian really had no problem with that other than the fact he couldn't necessarily fight back- and not because she was female. Merely because it was his job to fight and he did not want to end up mutilating a pack mate.
"What Sebastian? I know It's a rouge." Linger said rolling her blue eyes. "Her family was killed and she nearly died too, I just saved her." She explained, "Not that I owe you an explanation or anything." she huffed. She was close to the alpha and her uncle was the retired alpha. Her whole family came from long lines of alphas, so yes, she did have alpha blood in her and pack members knew that.
Sebastian was no coward, but he was a tactful and cautious individual whom tried to refrain from saying things that did not necessarily need to be said. Licking his lips nervously, he offered one last glance at the rogue, or in the general direction of the nude female, before he settled his contemplation upon Linger. "She needs to disappear." Sebastian said this in a careful tone and fashion; rather than saying 'she needs to go' or 'she needs to be taken care of' he said what he did in order to conjure that, whether Linger planned on hiding her or kicking her out like she rightfully needed to, something needed to be done.
"Would you be a dear and help me with that?" Linger asked. She really did need help, she had no idea what to do with the rouge. She was alone now.The shadowfield pack may tolerate rouges more than the silvermoon pack, but they weren't liked much.
Tamaris's ears perked up at the male's words. Disappear? She looked down at all the blood that had come from her on the ground. The scarlet liquid was still fresh and it made her dizzy. She couldn't make sense of alot of things. She remembered how her pack dealed with rouges. She growled in frustration and placed her hands on either side of her head. She was numb now. No amount of healing could heal her broken heart.
((I gtg sorry looks like i am going to youth tonight. it'll be 2-3 hours i think. I'll reply as soon as i can promise))
((I gtg sorry looks like i am going to youth tonight. it'll be 2-3 hours i think. I'll reply as soon as i can promise))
Sebastian's uncertain countenance turned into that of a face etched from cold stone. Sebastian had a duty as a sentinel to guard the pack from intruders, and to hide one would be a direct example of betrayal; the last thing he needed was to be exiled again like he had been in his previous life. Wait- what previous life? He was still living in the same one, for there was never a day where he didn't think about what had transpired years before. "… the only option without committing unforgivable treason would be to take her to town or to the unmarked land." His delta, Raven, was with him; even if he wanted to help in a wrong way, he could not, for she would be watching.
Tamaris didn't even bother listen to the members of this unknown pack now. She tousled her hair at the top with her one hand and dropped the other to her thigh. She began to dig her nails into her thigh hoping to relieve the pain of her loss. She would loosen her grip every 45 seconds then began again to add the pressure. She could still feel the dry blood on her. Her vulnerability was so foreign to her.
Raven slowed to a stop her gaze sharply taking in her surroundings around her before sliding her eyes and looking up at Sebastian. She really didn't know if she needed to start a conversation. If only because the silence whilst slightly startling at first, wasn't the most uncomfortable she had been in before. Not bothering she pulled her hands out of her pockets before stopping the scent of deer filing her nose. Perking up she turns her body towards the smell and was about to turn back to Sebastian only to tense. Raven knew that smell. The skin along the bride of her nose wrinkled in her sharp intake of breathe because not only was there a familiar scent but also one that wasn't. One that was foreign to her. Hearing Sebastian she gave a simple nod before going quiet concentrated on the more unfamiliar smell. Raven's dark eyes flash before turning to follow Sebastian who had apparently deemed the situation curious enough to where he began walking in that direction.
Raven, whilst slightly more wary of the circumstances followed Sebastian willingly through the thick foliage, brushing leaves away from the closer parts of her torso. Her feet, slightly sinking into the more worn parts of the pathway where there had clearly been something happening earlier, slowed as Sebastian stopped and she moved to his side gazing at Linger before looking down on an obviously nude girl. Not surprisingly her jaw worked slightly as she gazed down at the obviously frightened and to some extent-injured girl. Raven knew of course what she was however, she had a tad sense of pity for the poor girl even if she had long ago thought that she could no longer feel that with someone who used to be like her. Scared and alone. Without a second thought she merely brushed these feeling off her shoulder and glanced at Sebastian before turning to Linger her eyes widening a fraction of an inch.
Whilst holding the role of female Delta she hardly had a reason to speak out. Well...she did but saw no wrong doing. Yet. Cocking her head to the side, Raven lets her eyes take in the girl once again before turning to Sebastian. "I have to agree that if she does want to live without everyone knowing she's here she should be taken at least away from this vicinity. The lake is a popular place and she will no doubt be found unless she wants to be, which would mean serious consequences for not only her but us if she retaliates by mentioning our presence." Raven remarks thoughtfully whilst keeping a neutral tone.

Tamaris finally finding her voice again, spoke,"I wouldn't retaliate."Even as she was still shaken by the events that had pierced her deeply, her voice was firm and honest. There was no hint of spite; it was her blunt way of speaking."There's no point fighting when there is so much brutality else where."She shuddered hating the memories that passed by."I witnessed the shedding of blood from my pack. They were torn to pieces and mutilated. I see no reason to fight anyone anymore."She took a breath still processing everything. "Even if I were to go to this town, I wouldn't have a place to stay. I have no money, and am not of the age to own a apartment anyway. I do not want any of you to hide me. It's still betrayal to your own pack unless I could ask to join your pack."She said the words without thinking. She wasn't use to being a Rouge after being a Beta for so long. She was strong as a wolf and quickwitted to use her size against an opponent.
Sebastian shrugged. The obvious solution in which she suggested seemed of doable proportions, though he did not know how the alpha would react; though he believed that under her circumstances she would be lucky to even become an omega. "That seems rational." He glanced at his delta, the glint in his eyes giving away slight apprehension. ((Sorry its so short. At a friend's house.))
Tamaris was taken back by his reply. She didn't think she'd agree."I still trespassed on your land from what she told me."She gestured to Linger not knowing the names of these individuals."My life is in your hands for my irresponsibility of not checking even if i was under a fatal wounds."She said not sure what else to say. It was the truth afterall.
"Just be lucky is wasn't one of the alpha's that found you." Linger said lightly. She was never one to be very serious.
"Do you agree though...with him?"Tamaris turned to Linger. She still had her arms covering herself as best as she could."For me to join this pack? Being a rouge..."She hated the distaste in her mouth from the thought."..is a disgrace. I hate the fact of it all that I am one. My pack wouldn't have wanted this for me...to be rouge."She said with a little hurt in her voice.
"I think that would be your best bet. Rouges aren't liked around here." Linger told the girl. I can bring you to the new alpha pair and you can talk to them.
"Allright....would it be better to be human or wolf? As of right now, I'm still naked."Tamaris shifted her body, still not use to it."It's uncomfortable especially with a man here."She said not as a sexual way just to be modest.
"I have some clothes stashed in my car." linger told her. "The Alpha's are dealing with pack drama right now, so we might have to wait a little while."
Tamaris nodded."Ummm you can call me Monique or Momo. I don't really like being called by my first name."She felt that she should get more comfortable with them since they were possibly her new pack. "If that's okay with you, you did save me afterall."
"Ok Momo, I'm Linger Thorne." Linger introduced herself. "I'll run back and grab you some clothes." She said before running back into the trees and to her Black land rover. She grabbed the jeans and sweatshirt that she kept in the back and ran back to Momo
Tamaris smiled thankfully at the girl. She took the clothes and turned away from the group. She pulled on the pants after the panties. It was a little long on her, making her have to roll them up a little. The sweatshirt felt good against her skin once she added it to her clothes."Thank you." Not wearing shoes didn't bother her though; the only thing that did was the reality of what had become of her home.
"You can keep those." Linger told her, not exactly wanting them back now that they were covered in her blood.
"Sorry about the blood."Tamaris said as if reading Linger's mind. There sadness in her voice."I wish it was just my own."Her voice was soft, barely audible. Tears threatened to come out but she blinked them away.
"Don't worry about it. I'll take you shopping soon." Linger promised. The Thorne family comes from a lot of money, so it wasn't that big of a deal
Sebastian, doing the gentleman thing, turned his contemplation elsewhere as she adorned herself in wardrobe, albeit twas not like he would be seeing anything he hadn't already seen other than the prominent details. Sebastian had his fair share of nudity, both male and female, so his turning away was not out of his own wellbeing, but for 'momo's'. The atmospheric tension of her melancholic memories began to flood his sensitive senses and he quickly grew uncomfortable once more; to have negative energy flow into him made a big impact on a psyche so already unstable as he. The pizzeria had been enough arousal of discomfort, and now he could just taste the tears about to brim over momo's now glistening hues. She would be leaving soon.He directed his gaze to Raven, taking a respective step back, expressing his need for her to take a stand; tell him to go with them, though he would not understand why he would need to, or to stay and continue the hunt that they had originally pursued.
"Why are you helping me?" Tamaris said clearing her throat; it was addressed to all of them. She didn't want to be in such a vulnerable state at the moment. She had to compose herself once the Alpha comes.
"I understand what you're going through and you didn't become a rouge on purpose. It wasn't your fault. " Linger told her.
Sebastian's cranium carefully turned to Momo and his lips quirked up into an inhuman smile- a mock smile really; it was a weak attempt at good humour albeit held a sort of hidden malice within it. He had nothing against the likes of rogues, but the words he was about to say weren't necessarily inviting either. "I can't kill you when others, who are obviously seeking to help you, are present. Plus, it's a cowardice tactic to attack an enemy at their weakest." Sebastian fully understood her sorrows, or… well, he could comprehend why she was so crestfallen, however, he could not feel empathy for her. His family's blood was on his hands and he hadn't cried much. Not at all as far as he was concerned.
"Thank you again. I am in your debt. And as for what this guy says..."Tamaris still wasn't aware of all the names."I couldn't agree more. If I was in your place, I would have to think the same think. I'm a stranger right now. The pack is family. If I had a chance to kill the rouges who slaughtered mine. I wouldn't have to think a second to avenge my loved ones."
Sebastian shrugged nonchalantly; though his beloved sister had been robbed of her life energy by rabid rogues, he had done nothing to track them down and hurt them in the same way they had hurt him. Though indeed, with a pack that had reluctantly albeit surely accepted him, he would crawl on his hands and knees whilst his heartbeat stumbled to fight to their aid. "My name is Sebastian." He supposed that given she planned to join, she might as well know his recognition.
"Hey, Seb." Linger said turning to him, "Do you think you can babysit for a little bit, I need to go talk to the alphas before I bring her to the pack house." She asked her pack mate
"Thanks for not ripping my throat out, Sebastian."Tamaris said throwing in a little humor. She was sad but she didn't like the tension. "So where is this place exactly? What state?" She ignored the term Babysit seeing that she had to be ready.
Sebastian grimaced somewhat at the mention of the alias 'Seb.' It expressed intimate and comfortable terms, and he was not on comfortable terms with any of his pack mates, no matter his loyalty to the pack. Albeit she was a pack mate, still… she watched his back whilst he watched hers along with all the others and the functions of the unit. His gaze softened and the frown disappeared. 'Seb' would be tolerated. "Sure, I guess…" he mumbled this, shrugging once more as if it did not bother him, but it really did. He was no babysitter.
"Okay... at least its away from Cali'. "Tamaris puller her hair back as she thought. Away from home... She could sense Sebastion uneasiness with the fact of him watching her. She didn;t want to be babysat so they were both in the same boat now.
