**Elle Casey Fan Club** discussion

When you are looking for a new book/series, how many of you look at the star ratings, first? Which of you read reviews? Who finds recommendations on Facebook and Twitter? I know these are decision factors for me, especially if I am about to start a series. I want to invest my time and money wisely.

1. To help Elle Casey, for example, be sure to give your input on Goodreads, Amazon, Nook etc. Here are a few suggestions:
** At the very least, remember to give her a star rating.
** A few words about the book helps, too. You don't need to write a book report (unless it comes naturally to you). Just give a couple reasons why you like/dislike the story or the Author.
** Mention other books/series by Elle/Kat in your review, when you see fit.
** Or, simply give a shout out to a favorite character (TIM!).

2. When applicable (I.e. Amazon), be sure to click YES, if you think somebody's review is helpful.
** If you are reading a negative review, and you disagree, click NO. I think this action is especially important. You want to discredit bad reviews when you find them unfounded or unreasonable.

3. Facebook/Twitter - SHARE AWAY! Spread the Love!!
** ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS announce/share new book releases!!!
** Share reviews from book blogs.
** When the Author runs free or discounted promos, let others know.
** For example, The Changelings is now Free. After people read it, they will become hooked and will start buying the other War of the Fae books. This will lead to more sales of Casey's other books and series. We, here, are all fans, so we know this to be true!

Sure, this is no new information or advice... I don't want to come off as a hack. I haven't always been quite so diligent about reviewing every single book I like; however, in becoming more aware of what I look for in my own book/author searches, I've decided to turn over a new leaf, by golly!
... Just a happy little reminder ... Elle Casey Loves her fans ... Love her back! <3

I like to pin my favorite books. I know I don't have but a few followers, but when they see the pin, they know it means I really like the book.

Great post. Leaving reviews are not only helpful but fun and Elle's are probably the most fun to leave on Amazon. I always enjoy hearing back from her.
