Howl discussion

Renee Forest had clearly been back here, a half filled coke on the counter, something that she drank all the time. She was nowhere to be seen though, but it was blatant she would return soon.

Envy cursed the entire drive to the Silvermoon Territory. She cursed even more as she passed the gates that lead to the pack house. She was cursing so bad by the time she parked her Jeep that she could make a sailor blush. jumping out of the souped up jeep, which she had to climb into considering how large the wheels were, she sighed and looked at the house. She didn't want to see Fenris. It had been three days since her little accident at the dirt bike track and since she had seen her 'mate'. She rubbed at her bruised neck as she walked towards the house. No sooner had she walked five feet that she was surrounded by Silvermoon pack members. the circled her and growled. Envy's teeth lengthened and her eyes turned wolf.

Fenris walked out of the house, to see what was going on. He seen a circle of his pack-members surrounding Envy. Envy? What the hell was she doing here? He ran over and grabbed her, pushing her behind his back. He felt sparks, where his skin touched hers. That confused him, that only happened with your true mate. Pushing that thought to the side, he gave them all a warning snarl. They backed off instantly, lowering their heads in respect before running off into the woods.

Envy gasped when he touched her. She had felt sparks. Sparks? No, no, no not good. Sparks meant something bad, something she didn't want. "Don't touch me." She growled at him before sending his pack members a dirty look and walking towards the house. Vladimir stood waiting for her. She gave him a tight smile. She would do anything to not be here. But it got even worse when she saw her father step out of the house too. "What the hell is going on?" She demanded, something was up.

Fenris rubbed his face with his hand, she had a problem with saying thank you apparently. He walked over to the front of his house and gave both of their fathers a respectful nod. She wasn't going to like this, hell he didn't like it himself. At least she wouldn't be going for his throat when she found out.

Envy put her hands on her hip and tapped her foot, "Well?" She snapped. For such a small person, she had a lot of attitude.

"Both Vladimir and I think it would be best if you moved in with Finn." Nikolai mumbled quickly, almost like he was scared of his daughter's reaction...which he was.

"WHAT!?" Envy shrieked before turning on Finn, "This was your dumb ass idea wasn't it? What part of I hate you do you not understand? Why would you want me here? You don't like me either?" Even when she had died, he didn't look fazed at all. Envy was about to pounce on Finn and scratch his face off, but right when she jumped, her father caught her and held her to his chest. Envy was a mess of flying limbs and snarls.

Finn kept his face blank. He wasn't going to make a scene front of both of the former alphas, Envy was doing that enough for both of them. He couldn't win with her! He acted like he cared, which he did, she hated him. He tried to show her he liked her, and she threw it back in his face. He was done. He was no longer going to show her any of his emotions. Fenris looked at her, "It wasn't my decision, nor was it my choice. You don't want to be here, and you hate me, well that's fine." he tossed her a key to the house, and his suite, "Enjoy." he said emotionless as he started to walk away.

Casper walked outside when he smelled a Shadowfield werewolf, growling at Envy and frowning. He never liked Shadowfield wolves. He then just yawned and watched Finn walk off, frowning.

After she had stopped thrashing around, Nikolai put Envy down. "Fix this. Now." He wasn't being her alpha right now, he was being her father. Giving him one last dirty looked, Envy stopped off in the direction the Finn had gone.
"Fenris." Envy sighed as she came up behind him, she knew he heard her coming. Envy kicked at a rock with the toe of her black combat boot before looking up at his face. She hated how much shorter she was than him. "I'm..." She cleared her throat, "Sorry, for my minor freak out back there. You didn't deserve it." Although she still didn't think he gave a crap about her.

Fenris stopped and turned around, was she just playing with him again? This was their relationship, they would fight, they would actually get along, then she would blow up and run off. Her mood swings were starting to give him whiplash. He didn't know what to say, or how to act around her. His face was devoid of emotion, as he went through his inner turmoil. "Thank you. I'm sorry you had to find out this way. Though I did warn them how you would react...guess I was right," Finn gave her a small smile, as he looked down at her.

Envy bit her bottom lip and met his gaze with her two toned one. She was so attracted to him it wasn't even funny. Her wolf would pout and mope around when they weren't close to each other, but the second Envy got with in ten feet of him her wolf was content and calm. She didn't understand it. "Yeah well obviously you're starting to know me well." She told him, rocking back on her heels, "Thank you for calling Cora the other day for my little accident." there she said thank you, maybe she wont go to hell now....who was she kidding, she had a one way ticket there.

"You're welcome, I couldn't have let you die. My father would have never forgiven me...neither would Corie for that matter." Fenris didn't say that he would have never forgiven himself. His heart had been ripped out when her's stopped beating. The world became grey, and he felt disconnected with his wolf. He didn't know how this tiny person held so much power over him already.

"You would of been fine without me." Envy whispered, "You would of had another chance to find your true mate." That was how she truly felt. She felt like he had gotten a jail out of free card but he hadn't used it. She was very thankful for him for what he had done, but she didn't understand it.

Fenris looked down at her, "Envy..." he ran his hands through his hair. "Look, I don't know why I feel what I feel for you. All I know is that when you died...so did I. My life became meaningless, and I couldn't bare the thought out life without you. So you're wrong I wouldn't have been fine without you." He turned on his heels, and started pacing back in forth. He couldn't believe he had just said that to her. Not even 5 minutes ago she was trying to kill him, and told him she hated him.

Envy gasped at his words. How could he possibly feel that way towards her when all she did was tell him how much she hated him. Which was a lie. She didn't hate him. She hated the way she felt about him. She really did want to hate him though. "You know when I died, it was all black, but my wolf kept pushing images of you at me." She told him, "She really likes you and she hates when you don't pay attention to her." She said referring to when he tried to comfort that rouge at the pizza place. Taking in a deep breath, she decided to be honest with him. "I don't hate you, I hate the way I Like you." She said finally.

Fenris growled lightly, and marched over to her. He looked in her eyes, unsure if she was telling the truth or not. "Don't...don't play with me Envy. I couldn't take it if you were. I don't know how to feel about you. I don't want to let myself care about you, only to have you pull away. Like you always do. So please, don't play with me." Fenris pleaded with her...an alpha and here he was pleading with her. So many things in his life had changed since he met her. He felt less in control of himself, and his emotions.

Her wolf started to come to the surface as he came closer. Her eyes turned a glowing gold color and she had to clench her jaw to keep her teeth from lengthening. "I'm not playing with you." She said as she put her hand on his chest to push him back, not enjoying the feeling of being cornered. As her hands made contact with his hard chest, sparks flew between them again. Her eyes flew up to his in a panicked way, not knowing what was going on. Oh god why did she touch him?

Fenris frowned, sparks meant one thing and one thing only...mates. His wolf was spinning around in his head, yipping like a lovesick pup. This couldn't be true, could it? They couldn't be mates, could they? He didn't know what to do, or what to say. How was this possible? More importantly...how did Envy feel about this? She hated him before...would she still hate him now? He hoped not.

Realization crossed Envy's face as she finally figured it out. Her wolf was going crazy in her head and was so happy they had found their...mate. Oh god, they were mates. How could this be happening, they weren't supposed to like each other.
Envy took her hands off his chest and automatically she felt like she was missing something and her wolf started to growl at her. For once, Envy was speechless. After another moment of silence she spoke, "Well that explains my unnatural attraction to you." She said, trying to lighten the mood.

"Are you saying I'm not attractive?" he playfully responded. He couldn't believe he had actually found his mate. His true mate. Envy had no idea how long he had waited for her, no idea how guilty he felt when he thought he would be betraying her. Unlike other male werewolves, Finn had always wanted to find his mate. He had been heartbroken when he found out about the arranged mating. But now all he wanted to do was laugh, and maybe do a happy dance. Though he would wait until she wasn't around for that.

"No that isn't what I'm saying." Envy said shaking her head, "Well I guess you wouldn't of ever found your true mate if I'd died." She told him. Now that she knew that he was her true mate, she really wanted him to touch her. Her wolf was craving physical contact, she silently wonder how his wolf was doing with this.

"Well then I'm glad I didn't let you die...well Corie didn't let you die, I guess I should say," his wolf was angry with him. Angry because he didn't protect her, angry because he almost lost her. But mostly he was angry because he wanted his mate in his arms, though Finn didn't know how Envy would like that.

"I'm glad I came back to life too." Envy said peeking up at him through her eyelashes. Her wolf was going to go insane if he didn't touch her, she was clawing to get out and it was becoming almost painful for Envy. Wincing, she tried to suppress her wolf yet again.

Finn stepped closer to her, he wanted to touch her, but did she want him too? His wolf wanted him to touch her regardless, the phrase mine,mine,mine,mine,mine,mine,mine,mine,mine kept running through his head.

Not being able to stand it any longer, Envy launched herself at him. She knew it was pathetic, but she didn't care. Her small frame and weight barely moved him. Her arms went around his neck and her legs wrapped around his waist. Her head was buried in the crook of his neck and she slowly breathed his sent in. Her wolf was automatically calmed and stopped scratching to get out. Envy let out a small sigh of relief.

Finn caught her, and starting laughing. His wolf was prancing around in his head. He nuzzled the side of her neck, holding her closer to his body. "Mine," he whispered possessively against her neck. Now that he had her, he was never going to let her go.

If she never had to, Envy wouldn't ever move. She shivered slightly when he said mine. Normally she would hate that possessive word but coming out of Finn's mouth, she loved it. "I guess this will make me living with you a lot easier." she said against his neck.

That sentence brought a number of possibilities to his head, they were sharing the same room after all. He shook the thoughts from his mind, he have just found out she was his mate! And here he was thinking about the mating. Finn gulped, and tried to change the subject, "Our fathers will be pleased....."

"My father won't be happy that he'll have to give away his baby girl." Envy joked with him as she pulled back a little and looked at his face. Was he going to be happy with her? Would he get sick of her? all these questions ran through her mind.

"Well that's just too bad...you're mine," he growled, he didn't want to think about anyone taking her away from him. He would happily kill them first. Finn suddenly had an idea, "Umm, You remember Tobias the rogue from the other day? I'm thinking about asking him to join the pack...as my beta." He wanted to know her thoughts. He knew his parents would be furious, but he didn't care what they thought. Only her.

Envy laughed at his possessiveness, but she knew that she would be the same way. When he told her his eyes, she pursed her lips, thinking it over. "I don't know if that's the best idea, Fenris. A former rouge as beta. That will cause a lot of problems." she warned him, she wasn't going to tell him yes or no, it was his decision and as his mate, she had to support him...right?

"I like the way he handled himself, with class an respect under pressure. The best way a beta can handle a situation like that. He even tried to help defuse the situation, it was odd. I'm the last person to give a rogue a chance...trust me. There's just something about him, I think he would make a fine beta," Finn explained his thoughts to Envy.

They had just found out that they were mates and they were going to talk about this now? Groaning, Envy shrugged, "Why don't you have him come hang out with the pack for a while and see how he does in a pack situation. Like a trail run." She suggested, but at the moment she could really care less.

Finn chuckled at his little mate, "Well if pack talk is so boring to you, what would you rather talk about?" She was so feisty, he loved that about her. It let him know she could handle herself, and he wouldn't have to worry about her 24/7. Not that he wouldn't worry anyways, now he could just worry less.

Envy stuck her tongue at him stubbornly and pulled herself away from him and landed on her feet. "I never said It was boring, but I don't want to talk about this right now." She said, pushing dark locks of hair out of her eyes. Her one green and one blue eyes looked bright and lively, exactly opposite from the way Finn had first seen them after Rule pulled off her helmet.

"What would you like to talk about," he frowned missing the contact between them already. This wasn't good...she was going to have him wrapped around her little finger. His wolf snorted, as if to say yeah right, Finn just laughed at his thoughts. If that did happen, he would never like her know it. "You have the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen," it was true, they were mesmerizing.

Envy smiled at him, it was the first real smile she had given him since they had met. "Thanks, they do bring a lot of attention to myself." She said thinking about all the guys who had approached her, their pick up lines having always been about her eyes.
"Well I need to go home and pack some stuff if I'm going to be staying here for a bit." Envy told him. "We also have to tell our father's about our little discovery." Envy bit her lip when she thought about how she had yet to inform her father about her motocross accident. He had been out of state on business and too far away to feel her drop out of the pack for the moment. She had ordered no one to call and tell him, and they followed their alphas orders.

((I forgot about Rule and Cora lol, oh by the way the rogues are close to outnumbering the packs...))

"I'm sure they will be happy about it...things will be less messy for them now. My mother will be excited to meet you, in person...she's crazy so brace yourself." Finn smiled down at her, "I'm happy that I actually found you...I was falling for you before I knew, but this just makes things better." He hoped she wouldn't think that he only cared about her because they found out they were mates. Because that wasn't true.

((Haha and oh no not good!))

Envy laughed, "I can deal with crazy." She told him as she started to walk back towards the house, "Falling for me huh?" She asked over her shoulder, "is that why you were all pissy and angry with me three days ago?"

"Well you covered me in mud, died, threw a napkin holder at my face, tried to rip my face off today...how could I not fall for you?" Finn replied cockily, watching her walk away. After a minute he started to follow, rolling his eyes at his goofy grin.

"It was the dying part that pushed you over the edge right?" Envy joked with him. Only three days had they known each other and they already had quite the history. Envy walked up to the front of the house where Vladimir and Nikolai still sat, she had a happy grin on her face and her father have her her confused look, "You left here about to tear that poor guys face off and now your smiling like a love struck girl, what the Hell?" Nikolai said to his daughter.

Vladimir just smiled, he knew how charming his son could be. Even though Finn was mad he couldn't be with his true mate, he would do right by Nikolai's daughter.

Finn walked up to see his father's smile, and her father's confused face. He just rolled his eyes at them, and crossed his arms. "My face is too pretty to tear off, thankfully your daughter agreed," he replied with a joking manner to the Shadowfield alpha.

Envy didn't really know how to tell the retired alphas about Finn and her, so decided to just be blunt about it, "So fenris and I found out that we are actually true mates, so I don't want to tear his face off anymore..." She told them, "Well now that that's been said, later guys, I have to go get my crap from home." She scurried off towards her car before one of them could ask questions.

Nikolai raised a dark brow at Finn, "Is that true?" He asked him sternly

Fenris shot a disbelieving look at the back off Envy's head. Did she seriously just drop this bomb and run off? Finn sighed...he would get her back later. "Yes, it is true. Envy and I are true mates. And I guess I should add that Envy died 3 days ago and Corie brought her back to life." if they were telling the truth might as well do it all at once.

Vladimir stood there with his jaw dropped, wondering how Nikolai take the news about Envy dying. And Cora being a Luna, he was sure it wasn't going to turn out well.

"Fenris!!" Envy shrieked at him from her jeep, her wolf hearing having picked up what he'd said. She was going to kill him.

"She what?!" Nikolai yelled at the same time Envy shrieked at him.

Fenris couldn't help his chuckle, she shouldn't have tried to run off like that. He turned and gave her a cute smile and wave. He was baiting her, he knew it, but he couldn't help it.

Vladimir huffed and decided to try to calm Nikolai down, "She's perfectly fine, and alive now. My son was level headed enough to call my daughter, and Cora healed her..." he doubted that would pacify him, but it was worth a shot.

Envy walked back towards her father totey and calm him. As she passed her asshat of a mate, she slapped him on the back of his head. When she reaches her das she smiled weakly at him, "It's nothing to worry about, dad. It was a minor accident. I'm fine" she was glad that her dark hair covered the bruising for the 'minor' accident.

Finn would have laughed even hard when she hit him, but Nikolai looked like he was about to blow. Finn didn't want to set him off. He gazed from his mate to her father wondering if Envy could calm him down.

Envy put a hand on her father's cheek, "see I'm fine, Cora saved me." After a couple more mintures of her trying to calm down her father wrapped her up in his arms and kissed her forehead, "don't ever do something like that again." He warned before letting her go.
Envy sent a glare at Finn as she walked back to her jeep, "You're sleeping on the floor tonight. " she seethed as she unlocked the doors and pulled herself into the drivers seat.

Finn smiled to himself. Looking bad at Envy before, turning back to their fathers. He wondered if Nikolai would freak out on him. He shouldn't him and Cora did say Envy's life after all. But would never know. Either way Finn was starting to miss Envy being near him. His wolf started to whine, he walked over to her jeep before she could leave and got in. He was going too.

((Should Envy and Finn walk in on Cora and Rule kissing or something? Now that would be crazy lol!))
